As Cinnamon Hex was walking following a school map towards the mare dorms she overheard some talking. She dismissed it at first until her ears twitched at the tell tale buzz sign of a changelings voice. As she looked to her left she saw two ponies and a changeling conversing with each other and her jaw dropped a little in astonishment. "There's a changeling an actual changeling." she thought as she walked over to the small group

 

When she got to the group she still couldn't stop staring at the changeling as she talked"I can't believe that they were serious with this Harmony among all races thing. Are you a REALLY a changeling or is this some powerful disguise spell." she asked as her eyes narrowed and she leaned closer to him to hear an answer.

"Sorry to intrude, but what others have between Ponies and changelings, I'm out and do not know much, and very nice to meet you there my name is Kelly. "

 

Kelly showed a gesture of respect to the Unicorn in front of her, she was still learning to deal with the magical Ponies.

Riley raised an eyebrow in Bushido's direction. "Huh? What's so bad about brohooving?" he questioned. "Do you hoofshake instead? Here, check out my 5-way hoofshake..."

 

He spread both his wings and raised one front leg, one hind leg, and his tail. "If five ponies shake all of these parts at the same time, I can greet five ponies at once!"

He noticed a tall mare. "Hiya, miss! I'm Riley! Nice to meet you!" he said, offering his right wing for her to shake as he tried not to lose his balance.

 Cinnamon blinked in surprise she had been so focused on the changeling she had completley forgotten about the other 2 ponies. She looked over the pony who spoke and said " Yes Good Day to you...Kelly" she awkwardly said. She wasn't used to non pony names

Kelly was confused, She looked to Cinnamon for a few seconds, and asked again. "What happened between Changelings and Poneis could you tell me?, sorry for this i'm from out of Equestria. "

 

Kelly was hoping to receive a reply and gave a smile and wait for a Cinnamon.

"This is a group and a half eh? Heheh, and Hello" Void said to the tall orangey brown mare

"Yes I am a real Changeling see?" Void said this and turned into Cinnamon with a large grin.

"Proof I am a Changeling huh"

Void then turned to face Kelly as he turned back into his Changeling self.

"I could tell you myself since I was there when the Changelings attacked Canterlot"

"Well the changelings launched an attack on Canterlot,kidnapped Princess Cadenza,almost killed Princess Celestia and the Mane 6 our new teachers." she said as she listed them off one by one as if talking about the weather. "I'm surprised anypony doesn't know what happened, have you been living under a rock?" She asked in astonishment.

Cinnamon turned toward the nameless changeling and said " There I explained for it you. Now are you really a changeling I could have sworn all changelings were brainless and just followed the queen...unless you are part of a new invasion force." she asked as her crimson eyes narrowed in worry.

Riley was not one to judge somepony. He was convinced that there was more to everyone than met the eye. "Well, if this particular Changeling was a bad guy, I don't think he'd be allowed in the academy! As a teacher!" he said optimistically. "Oh, hey, never got your name."

Kelly looked at Cinnamon and lowered his head and iniciate to talk slow.

 

"I'm sorry, I got here a few days, I do not know how you accepted me, excuse me"

 

Kelly showed a bit of sadness with that comment, she was expecting a response from Unicorn who spoke with her.

"Yes, riley i do shake hooves. And as for classes, i have Raimbow Dash in mind". After her minimal responses, Bushido walked a bit away from the group and unsheathed her broadened katana, "Kamikaze no Ōkami Kiba", leaning in it after impaling it in the floor. She had had more than enough chitchat about harmony between races and just wanted to unload her weapons, minus the set of kunai she always kept hidden in her mane.

"A teacher huh...well I guess it's fine then. My name is Cinnamon Hex and yours is." she asked as her eyes shifted to the new pony. As she put her boxes down via levitate she wondered if maybe she could ask the changeling teacher for info about the picking teachers.

Kelly walked to the side of the Changeling(Void), looked like it had already made a new friend, she waited for the orders or at least trying to understand what was going on at the site.

 

"Hey Void, i can follow you, today?"

 

She smile and look to Void hopefull.

Riley turned to the mare. "Riley Blythe! Wonderful to meet you, Cinnamon Hex!" he greeted. He flew up into the air. "High five!" he joked. He then fluttered back down onto the ground. "Hey, look what I can do, everypony!" He started breakdancing, and as he did so, he flapped his wings and hovered in the air. His awesome dance move, the mid-air breakdancing.

Void looked around at everypony and was confused.

"I applied to be a Teacher here but never got it so I am student instead" 

Void was laughing at Riley doing his moves in the air as he turned to Kelly "Yeah you can come with me if you like but. Wait what if I got magic with Twilight? I thought you didn't want magic."

Void grinned at everypony who was talking as he loves social interaction with lots of ponies.

Soprano, after the speech, sat down and studies. He wanted to learn important things, not simply mingle! It was simply useless. He needed his Japanese practice, anyway. He wasn't the best social person/pony, but he was great with his studying, and socialising with ponies older than him.

Everlast sat with the rest of the teachers and listened intently to the opening speech. He clapped vigorously at the end, and watched as the students of every race intermingled with each other. This is true harmony. Everypony, technically non ponies included as well, working together for a common goal. He made his way to his classroom. He walked through the doorway and sat at his desk, reflecting on everything that made this possible for him. I think, that I have been put in a peculiar position. For only by truly studying the past troubles, can we truly avoid conflict and bring peace.

Storm Shine had been laying on his back during the speech, paying attention in his own relaxed way. Once the speech had finished, he sat up on his cloud and clapped his hooves together, due to a lack of ground on which to stamp. He had to say, Princess Celestia was good at speeches... it comes with years of being alive, he supposed.

 

After the applause had subsided, he observed his soon to be students. "I can't really consider them my students, if I have yet to even have them in my class.." Storm mentally reasoned to himself. As he sat there observing them, he took note of the tips and tells about the Physical Fitness of his not-so-distant-future students, as was his job as a P.E. Teacher.

 

(OOC: Just assuming that he is going to be a P.E. Teacher, since that was what I had suggested. If that's not the teaching position he received, please let me know. Also assuming he got a student list with some basic details about them, AKA basic physical features, etc. so that he could know what his students names and such are.. Again if I made a bad assumption here, let me know and I will come back and edit this or something.)

 

"Hmm... The orange stallion, Riley I think, seems slightly above the average fitness level... If a bit chubby for a Pegasus.." He thought to himself, yet deciding not to judge any of their fitness states before the actual assessment, simply getting an idea of what they could be. "Interesting, that young mare, Bushido Blade I believe, is quite fit, and while she seems blind, it also doesn't appear to hinder her whatsoever..." Storm mused. "I really hope I don't need to be professional all the time while working here.... Ugh! Focus Storm, focus!" He thought, before mentally scolding himself. "Oh, would you look at that! A changeling.. Didn't expect that, but definitely not against it. Storm continued to ponder getting lost in his thoughts. "Not sure how to evaluate him, seeing as I don't know changeling physiology.. might need to go see Headmistress Princess Celestia about that." He realized. "Though... Would it be that, or still just Princess Celestia? Maybe Headmistress Celestia? Oh well, not important..." Storm reasoned out in his head.

 

Storm sighed audibly. "I guess I should simply leave the matter be until the evaluation.. Aside from the need to check with Celestia about changeling physiology.." He said, dispersing his cloud before lazily flying towards Celestia's office area. No real need to rush, just yet.

"Whelp, I'm famished!" declared Riley. "Time for a snack, methinks." He trotted over to a convenient vending machine and was just about to place a Bit into the coin slot when he noticed the text: "INSERT YOUR BITS".

 

Riley fell onto his back in hysterical laughter.

Void turned to face Riley and didn't realize what he was laughing at until he approached the vending machine and noticed the sign.as he started to snigger until he was laughing out loud.

"Wait! Wait! How did they not notice that when putting that on!?" He was losing air as he laughed harder. He was just thinking that as he wondered when they would choose there classes as he was still stuck between too choices.

Storm watched Riley trot over to the vending machine, before laughing hysterically and calling the changeling, Void if he remembered correctly, over. Once he arrived, he noticed the sign, causing him to laugh as well.

 

 "Well" Storm thought to himself with a grin "I see they noticed my little replacement sign/sticker... Couldn't repress the urge, that prank was just too easy... Not only is there nopony getting laughed at, but it also gets many ponies to laugh! I'm a GENIUS!" He thought triumphantly, chuckling quietly. "It was as easy as adding a 'your'  to a similar sticker and throwing it over the original.... I just hope I don't get into trouble with Princess Celestia for this..." Storm mused.

 

"I wonder when Princess Celestia is going to hold the whole class choosing ceremony/assembly thing..." He wondered

Soprano finally went into class, seeing come of his classmates on the way.

 

As he walked in, he sat in the seat closest to the teacher's desk, and started transcribing all of the things he heard around him. He needed teeline practice, as he hadn't studied.

(OOC: there are no classes the first day that was explained in the opening speech) the bell sounded at that moment "attention students, orientation will be starting in 1 hour please go the the atatourium (I stink at spelling) there you choose you mentor or just go though general studies please think long and hard about which element you want to be/learn about you are able to change your choice with mentor approval and as always have fun and listen for possible school events that will happen at least twice a week to keep things interesting around here."

Cinnamon sighed as she laid down on a bench with her hooves tucked under her wondering about the classes she would take and the lessons she would learn from her ideal teacher Twilight Sparkle. Her red eyes drifted around looking at each and everypo-everyone trying to evaluate from afar. As she was looking around she started drifting off to a light sleep only to shaken out of it when a voice sounded out from the intercom for students to choose their mentor or to go through General Studies. Cinnamon slowly got up and stretched her long legs in preparation to sign up under Twilight Sparkles class.

Soprano heard the announcement, and decided to wait at least a half hour before going. He thought long and hard, but couldn't think of anything. He wasn't honest, or a unicorn, so Honesty and Magic were out. He wasn't optimistic or kind, so that threw out laughter and kindness. He wasn't loyal, and he wasn't generous. He had nothing.

Bushido resheathed Kami no Ōkami Kiba and walked to the auditorium slightly annoyed that she hadn't been able to put her weapons away. She sat in the auditorium at the very last row of seats so as be separate from the others. "This may be a school for Harmony but that doesn't mean o trust anyone here, at least, not yet".
