Okay, my theory about the town being brainwashed, might have just got thrown out of the window. Did these ponies actually gave their Cutie Marks up willingly? Then i ask myself why? Zoraxe 546 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 I am going to say that I really don't think this show is going to make any sort of political statement, if anything because they don't want to alienate any fans. They arn't going to take a side in individualism vs collectivism, they are not going to say the individual is more important than the group or vice versa. They are not going to say 'Socialism good, Capitalism bad!' or vice versa either. None-the-less, I can see a bunch people going 'ha, this episode is a critique on communism!', or 'ha, this episode is a critique on conservatives!', and I really think thats probobly not the case. Living in houses that look just the same as a symbol of conformity is kinda a theme in both soviet style housing projects and the capitalist american suburbs. I don't think that they will wait longer then this. I will laugh when Hasbro does a campaign where they say: "Hey kids. Do you want to see the season premiere earlier then everyone else? If I remember correctly Crystal Empire was released on DVD shortly after season 3 came out and this article says June 30th so the season has to come out before June 30. It's already March so I don't think we have too long of a wait. I highly doubt a DVD for a series would be released before a season. The only time I'v seen episodes released on DVD before their air date was when I bought "Leroy & Stitch" and there was a bonus episode of Lilo & Stitch The Series as a special feature that aired on TV months later. If Equestria Girls 3 was coming out before season 5 then I would worry about these "Cutie Mark-less" episodes coming out before the season as DVD special features.
