I'm not sure if it will happen in season 5 or 6, but based on some things I'm reading in the Journal of The Two Sisters, I would not be surprised if we see Starswirl the Bearded soon.

 

Also, I'm doubting we'll see CMC get their cutie marks. Perhaps ever. Why? They are in the show to appeal to younger children who are trying to understand life and finding your path and all of the troubles you'll have growing up and teach them that it's part of life and we all go through it.

 

Not saying you have to be young to like them. Just that older teens aren't exactly representative of the life of a 10-12 year old now, are they? So they need younger kids trying to find their spot in life to speak out to other kids trying to find their spot in life. But once they found their spot in life, they won't have as much purpose like this

 Sorry to say, but i don't think Derpy will come back.. Considering a soccer mom got her off the show because it was offensive to people with down syndrome/retards. We can only hope for Derpy. I also do think Celestia will go evil! It just makes sense, she's way too nice! Hopefully Twilight Sparkle will someday earn more power...

I think Scootaloo should get her cutie mark first. She's my least favorite CMC, but it would make a good Scootaloo + Rainbow Dash episode about loyalty. Scootaloo thinks that now that she has her cutie mark, she shouldn't be with the CMC anymore. Rainbow Dash convinces her to continue helping the other two get their cutie marks even though she already has hers. Rainbow represents the element of loyalty, so it would be perfect. 

 

I had the idea of a darker Mane Six, too, so they should do that. 

 

If Grogar returns in Season 5, I want Cranky and Bray to be cousins who hate each other, and Cranky warns Pinkie of him and tells her that he is nothing good. 

 

I want the Smooze to return, but not as a major villain. Instead, it is something that got lose because perhaps a dam broke, and the ponies start being grumpy until Pinkie Pie saves the day. 

 

 

The Cakes are sick, and Pinkie Pie has to run Sugar Cube Corners all by herself having to stay professional and mature.

and it would be nice for Trixie to come back and be friendly.

they could do a whole episode about her finding her place in town and annoying every before she remember that she's show girl and sets up a magic show. great for tourism. 

Spike could reach maturity and go through some growth spurt and become like one of the giants winged dragons.

then Twilight could pull a dragon rider.

it would be nice to also learn about places beyond Equestria even if we don't get to see them.

I would be satisfied with them simply referencing a country other than the one they live in.

Maybe Celestia could leave for a meeting with foreign diplomat and we could learn about when she mention it to twilight.

 

to be honest I don't care, sure I have lots of stuff I wanna see but I haven't seen an ep I didn't like yet.

Just give Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash a great bonding episode. Include some backstory for Scoots and some development for Dash and they could have one of the best episodes of the series.

Applejack finds a lone orange tree in a secluded part of the farm. She becomes obsessed with it, and her friends have to snap her back to reality.

 

We finally meet Rainbow Dash's BROTHER. He's an aerial cop, and Rainbow is mortified when he issues her a speeding ticket.

 

Princess Celestia takes Rarity aside and makes a little confession. She rather enjoyed when Rarity kissed her hooves.

 

Princess Luna begins having nightmares about her time of seclusion on the moon. Due to her being able to enter other ponies dreams, she accidentally projects her terror all over Canterlot and Ponyville on a nightly basis. Scootaloo then comes to the Princess's rescue.

 

Fluttershy begins to feel a bit more than friendship for Discord. Will her friends accept it when she decides to take her relationship with him to the "Next Level"?

 

Twilight begins to fret. Since she is now the Princess of Ponyville, will Celestia expect her to find a mate and insure her regal line continues? Will Equestria's newest princess be able to bring herself to come out of the stable, and admit stallions aren't for her? Will Twilight follow her heart, and ask Princess Celestia out on a date?

 

Sweetie Belle's grades begin slipping at school. What will Rarity think when she finds that her little sister has started drinking HARD cider?

 

Applebloom gets her cutie mark, and in an unusual move, hides it. She's scared to death that the CMC will disband once Scoot and Sweetie belle find out that she betrayed then

LOL no. I'd rather have an episode where Twilight would get a machine gun and kill everyone. Which will not happen because I'm Joking LOL. So there.

I would like to see:

 

• More of Twilight's Parents
• Cutie Mark Crusader's get their Cutie Marks
• Scootaloo flying
• The Mane Six's Parents
• Twilight's very special somepony (Flash Sentry??)

These are my predictions:

1st - Luna will enter Apple Bloom's nightmare. Hopefully it will be about Apple Bloom's fears of being unsuccessfull or not being able to make her family proud of her.

 

2nd - There will be another Fluttershy / Discord episode for sure.

 

3rd - Trixie will show up again as great and powerful as ever.

 

 

My hopes are:

 

1st - Queen Chrysalis comes back

2nd - Hopefully, characters like Gilda, Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich and Babs will show up this season.

 

3rd - One of the CMC will get her cutie mark and there will be an episode where the other 2 have to learn not to be jealous or angry at her (I want it to be Apple Bloom since she was the reason the CMC were even created).

 

4th - The mane 6 spend a day in the beach. I don't care what lesson will it be about, just GO TO THE DAMN BEACH! XD

 

5th - Shining and Cadance should have kids

 

6th - Silver Spoon will stand up for the CMC and burst at Diamond Tiara about how she is tired of hurting other ponies.

 

7th - Lunay and Tia as fillies <3

 

8th - I so want the MLP staff to tackle death of people close to you. Apple Bloom misses her parents and Applejack either will explain to her how it happened (obviously with video footage in the episode) and tell her that everything will be ok. It will never happen but it's a fase that most children go through sooner or later.

 

 

That's pretty much it tho.

^ Coco Pommel is already confirmed to return in an episode. I do not think Cheese Sandwich will return because it would be difficult to consistently have Weird Al as part of voice acting team. I would like Lightning Dust and Trixie to make a comeback.

 

Here are some more hopes for me

 

- Flash Sentry is given a role in the show with more focus and is given a personality

 

- I would like to know about Fluttershy's family.

 

- World building like visiting the Griffon kingdom or Saddle Arabia

- No villains in the premiere and finale (But if the villain is Chrysalis i'd make an exception).

- An one part episode as the season premiere or finale.

- An episode where Discord is interacting with all the mane 6, not just Fluttershy or Twilight.

- An episode about Celestia's perspective through all the seasons.

- Like somebody said before me, an episode about the mane 6 on the beach!

- The mane 6 go to Marexico (Or Mexicolt)

- A Diamond Tiara centered episode.

- Trixie, Coco Pommel and Cheese Sandwich come back.

- Rainbow Dash joins the Wonderbolts, but then she realizes that being a wonderbolt was her inspiration, but not her final goal, so she quits.

- An episode about Twilight's family.

- Luna visits Applebloom in her dreams, 

- The CMC finally get thei Cutie Marks.

In my opinion, I have no idea what to think. Season 5 is far off, and we might get clues as this season progresses. However, I do not think it'll be the last season. There should be at least 6 seasons.

Episode is about Pinkie Pie's comedy and jokes getting stale. So she tries to find some new way to make ponies laugh which involves magic going out of control.
