Paper Mario

  • Sticker star

Oh wow, I completely forgot about that one!

Yeah, Sticker Star is just very saddening. They took a great series and stripped it of everything good. After a certain point I just couldn't get myself to play the game anymore. The enemies were really annoying because you had to waste stickers to fight them, and fighting them didn't really have any incentive, with the level-up system having been removed.

What were they thinking? =(

Sid Meier's Civilization

- Beyond Earth, doesn't even seem worthy to be called a game

Call of Duty

- Black Ops, in my opinion, it was overrated to hell. Not sure why so many people praise it for being one of the best Cod games.

Toy Story

- Toy Story 3, meh, this movie was boring, and ruined the original 'feel' of the show for me

Godzilla:

- Godzilla's Revenge (1969) : It's cheaply made (They reuse footage from previous Godzilla films), Godzilla's barely in it, it's incredibly childish (Minya can shrink to human size and talk), and the costumes look silly (The villain, Gabbaro in particular).

- Godzilla (1998) : Everyone's already adressed the problems with this movie a 1000 times, so I don't need to say anything.

Mario:

-Mario Galaxy 2: the first one had it's flaws, but I let them pass. SMG2 however, it's the game that finally killed WII for me. Copy paste everything, underwhelming original music compared to the first, less space environments (which the first one made a magnificent job with it), accentuating the first game's flaws (I'M LOOKING AT YOU PRANKSTER COMETS  ), and an awful final battle. Yeah, that's the game which finally killed the WII console for me. Speaking of WII

Nintendo Consoles:

-WII: I can tolerate the wiimote with its awkward motion for certain actions, but the problem were the games. Few good third party ones, and most of it's first party ones, were underwhelming, hell, because of that, my bro and I threw away our loyalty with Nintendo and bough a PS3 >_> . I know the Game Cube had the same problems with third parties, BUT AT LEAST THEIR FIRST PARTIES WERE THE SHEIT

Metroidvania:

-Dawn of Sorrow: Arie of Sorrow is my favorite game out of the GBA metroidvanias, and one of my favorite overall, but it's sequel was quite underwhelming for copying pasting everything. The fact that you needed souls to forge weapons didn't helped either

Classic Castlevania:

While I prefer the metroidvanias, that didn't stopped me for trying the classic ones. I played few, but enough to make my verdict

-Castlevania III Drac's Curse: Damn, it's no joke that I felt the original CV was frustrating, and way more difficult than  NINJA FREAKING GAIDEN  , but for the wrong reasons. Slow character, awkward jumping, cheap deaths, and many other things that I can't tolerate that makes a game unnecessarily difficult (check "fake difficulty" on TVtropes), but this game accentuated them. Never finished it because of it

Lords of Shadow

CVLoS2: While it's far from a bad game, it's very underwhelming compared to it's previous entries. Navigation is confusing if you don't know the way around, boring ambientation, shorter length than LoS1, bad pacing in the story, and an ending that was meh. At least the gameplay and the sweet music were left intact. I still recommend it, but expect less from the previous entries

That's what I can think right now, more later  ;)

Why people put so much hate in FF XIII? I like it ;_;

Although I can agree FF XII is awesome. My brother used to play it and he was close to finish all monster hunt. I think he had 3-5 left on the list. All I can remember is that one of the hunt is somewhere foggy.

Also, please don't flame me for this, but I really hater NFS: Shift. IMO, it's the beginning of NFS's downfall of fame, since it changed its gameplay entirely, from street racing to official racing. Please, we have GT/Forza for that, why NFS is not staying on making street racing game?
