Blaze jumped when she licked his ear. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You can hate me for this but she cannot give out complimentary drinks. She does not work here. However, I will still give the complimentary drinks as an apology for having to put with her and for me snapping but really. I would never date somepony so.. Oh, wait. Yeah, I have, we'll, either just try to enjoy your food and understand the stress I'm under. I havnt even had this place open a week, and she trashed, stole from me and us living here", he said rubbing his temples. He eventually went upstairs and went to get some sleep to take his mind off of his current predicament.

 

Midnight Shadow was already in the bed when he came up, and she wasn't moving, "nope get you're own bed" she added before burying herself under the covers, "are you mean't to leave the customers on their own?" she asked smirking. she started to giggle under the covers before glancing up at him, he was soo mad and was going to crack any minute now "maybe i should have offered them more then free drinks" she added cracking up laughing again.

Blaze Blitz glared at her, officially pissed off at this point. "Get put of my bed or get out of the sky", he ordered her ready to grab her and throw her out of the sky if she stayed in his bed. "Why can't you shower even a slice of respect? I mean, you tried to rob me and are now living in my house. I want to know why you're so uncivilized that you can't even be have a half second. Whenever I turn around you've gone and caused another problem".

Blaze Blitz glared at her, officially pissed off at this point. "Get put of my bed or get out of the sky", he ordered her ready to grab her and throw her out of the sky if she stayed in his bed. Midnight Shadow smirked "you want the real me?, you couldn't even handle the real me if i showed it to you, you would completely flip out" she advised before snugging into his bed even more "this bed is sooo comfy" she added making him much more annoyed, she then looked at him and poked her tongue out at him

"what wait?" she exclaimed as she got dragged out of the bed and thrown out of the window. "ahhhhh" she screamed frightened as she fell stopping her disguise as a normal pegasus, her eyes became slightly more changeling along with gaining a small black changeling horn. Her ears also changed to a slightly longer changeling version however apart from that she remained mostly pegasus. She suddenly stopped moving and glanced at Blaze where he had caught her, she forgot she had stopped maintaining her disguise slightly pissed "what the hell is wrong with you, throwing a mare out of a window, did you forget i can't fly" she added her horn glowing slightly red, "take me back now" she added with a small growl her changeling teeth bared in a scowl.

 

(oh no, don't drop her, she won't be happy)

"Actually, the fact that you can't fly is the whole reason I did it. And here's a hot tip. Next time you piss Mr off, I won't be catching but I will be listening for the 'splat'. Blaze nodded and flew then up to his house flying in through the window he had thrown her out of. "I'm glad we have an understanding.... But Um......", he started and then poked her changing ear experimentally. "What's the deal with these and that", he said touching her Horn gently.

Midnight Shadow blinked at him and glanced at her horn before hiding it going back to her pegasus self, "erm, nothing wrong with that" she finished blinking, "i don't know what you're talking about" she added before getting up and walking away rather quickly, "he knows" she whispered to herself, she flicked her ear slightly anxiously wondering if he would get the Royal Guards, Changelings were never trusted anymore not since chrysalis tried to take over Equestria. Even though she was only partly a changeling she would be treated no difference.

He stopped her with a wing when she turned to walk away. "Changeling, huh? Neat. So, is one if your parents a changing, then", he asked not caring that she was part Changeling since she could fly and wasn't a threat to him. "Heh, sorry about tossing out the window but you needed to chill out".

Midnight Shadow flicked her tail, "yeah something like that, its rather hard to chill out when lots of ponies hate you" she remarked sitting down and giving herself a wash. "normally the ponies are happy but when they see a changeling they get all angry and mad" she smirked, "really hard to concentrate on my spells when everypony near me is angry" she added before yetting out a small yawn.

 

"and you can't maintain the spell for long after you fallen asleep" she remarked, she glanced at the clock and remarked "anyway im sleepy again, do you want the bed or can i have it?, couches get ruined by my horn when i roll over." she finished getting really sleepy, she decided the floor was a good idea and laid down on the floor before going to sleep their. After sometime her magic stopped revealing her pegasus/changeling form.

Blaze nodded and listened to what she had to say, still a bit embarrassed about throwing her out of the window. When she had fallen asleep, he picked her up gently, taking care to not wake her and put her on the bed, after he had propped up a few pillows for her and covered her up in his sheets and blankets, figuring if she wasn't on the couch, then she may as well take the bed. He left the room and shut the door silently and went into his living room to lay on the couch. Before he laid down however, he went to his hall closet which had a spare blanket and pillow and brought them with him to the couch, laying down with a yawn and falling asleep after a couple hours of counting stitch marks in the blanket.

 

.................. The next morning....................

 

Blaze woke up earlier than normal due to his stress from the past few days. He groggily got up and took a shower with I've cold water to help wake him up. After his shower, he went to the kitchen and made breakfast with his food from the restaurant since he had just ordered a bunch of food ingredients for the restaurant anyways. Once he had finished making breakfast he put half in a tray with a glass of juice and brought it into his bedroom, placing it on his dresser for Midnight so she could eat whenever she woke up. He quickly ate his own breakfast while watching the television quietly as to not wake the sleeping mare. When 6:00 came around, he headed down to the restaurant to get started on the day. "Morning, both of you, and you have the afternoon off remember, I actually have a full staff, so you're not the only ones working here anymore", he said and help the two mares get started for the morning customers, making breakfast meals, coffee, and various pastries. The guards from before, namely the one who had left Midnight and the letter at Blaze's house came on for coffee and doughnuts, which Blaze had to bite his tonnage to keep himself from making a joke about.

Midnight Shadow woke up at around midday, she snorted before rolling over falling off the bed which woke her up, she groaned laying their for several seconds and got up. She walked to the shower and had a quick wash before coming back into the bed room her nose detected a nice smell coming from a plate on the dresser, she levitated the tray to the floor and started eating it before levitating it downstairs to be washed up later. Then she put her pegasus disguise on and went off to find Blaze.

 

She traveled downstairs where she picked up lots of positive emotions causing her to groan, "too much, positive" she grumbled knowing it would have serious effects on her disguise if it continued. She walked from table to table trying to find Blaze before snorting, she decided to find him in the kitchen where he was making some sort of bread. However she bumped into the group of royal guards on her way, who began to laugh as she neared them. Finally it got too much for Midnight Shadow and she started to feed of all the ponies positive energy gorging herself in a matter of minutes.

 

However she had acquired a slightly greenish glow causing the royal guards to look at her strangely and the room went deadly silent. 

 

(shes still in her disguise btw, just gained a greenish glow around her)

Blaze noticed the situation in the restaurant and jumped over the kitchen counter and in between the mare and the guards. "Midnight, please go back to bed. You don't look so goos", he said the mare pretending that she had some horrible condition to get the suspicion off of her and tossed the guards their coffees and pastries to divert thier attention. "Go", he said to the mare.

Midnight blinked before twitching her ear "why would i want to leave?" she asked glancing around at the ponies, she licked her lips "so much food here, please enjoy yourself" she remarked finding it hard to move away from this food source, she twitched her ear some more draining more of the positive energy from the room.

 

One of the royal guards got up and frowned at her "theirs something wrong with you're eye ma'am" he informed before frowning, and getting closer "are you even listening to me?" he asked slightly concerned.

 

Midnight Shadow blinked and smirked giving into her changeling hunger, she quickly drained all the positive emotion out of the whole room and returned to her normal changeling pegasus hybrid form "ohhhh, sooo, muchhhh, fooooood" she mumbled frothing at the mouth, she quickly pushed the royal guard over and drained all the positive energy from him causing him to faint.

 

Midnight Shadow then lay down full of energy from her meal.

Midnight Shadow started snoring before twitching her ear happily. 

 

he royal guards frowned at Blaze "sir, we going to need to place you and you're changeling under arrest, "if you want to close up then we can come with me" he informed him, one of the other royal guards glanced at him "sir i will go get a princess, this could be another invasion" he added before flying away

 

One of the royal guards went and fetched Midnight Shadow and dragged her down, "commander shes asleep, but still dangerous" he added putting her on the floor, then the rest of the guards escorted all the customers away and locked the shop. The guards frowned at him "well you're in big trouble, explain yourself. Why did you keep this changeling from us, unless your also on crystalysts side" he added.

 

Suddenly a large alicorn teleported within the room, she glanced around before one of the guards noticed her. "Princess Celestia, we found a changeling that got though the shield, also this pony been hiding her" he informed her. Celestia blinked surprised as she glanced at the Midnight Shadow.

 

Midnight Shadow woke up and glanced at Celestia, "erm i'm in trouble right?" she asked, Celestia frowned "how did you get past the shield?" she asked frowning, "that's mean to stop any changelings from getting though and here you are" she added.

 

Midnight Shadow smirked "half changeling, you're shield wasn't designed to stop half of anything" she replied getting up, she glanced at Blaze, "hey Blaze you got any of those awesome cakes you bake?" she asked him twitching her ear

"Um, so you wanna arrest me for keeping the pony that you stick in my house in my house", he said and left the room for a minute making a phone call. He came across and sat there with no intentions of leaving the building. "And yeah. She is a pony. Being half Changeling does not matter, especially when she can't even fly", he said as a black unicorn appeared floating on his own aura. (He is my avatar and Luna' elite personal guard). "Celestia.... Let us be rational for a moment. The child presents a valid argument. She cannot fly. She is anchored inside of this house. She is no threat to Equestria. Of course if you still insist on arresting them then I will have to take another route of stopping you from doing so. I will free Tirek from the underworld. I will corrupt Discord against Equestria and Luna back to Nightmare Moon. I will revive King Sombra and personally destroy your anti-Changeling shield. I will bring about the end of this world if I have to", he said in a voice like a serpent. He was indeed loyal to Luna but not exactly to Celestia, so all bets were off if she continued her detaining attempt.

Then she left the kitchen and went upstairs to bed where she had a nice nap.

Midnight Shadow came back down refreshed from her nap, she started to scratch her horn against the table top it being rather itchy, she flicked from several disguises one including Twilight Sparkle. She kept on rubbing it before making a relived sound "ahh that's better" she remarked reliving her itch, she ended up looking like Twilight Sparkle. "so we got any grub going Blaze?" she asked him with her normal voice.

Blaze was working on fixing some water damage when he saw Twilight Sparkle walk into the kitchen. He just pointed and sighed. "is this gonna happen a lot? "and i'm only half a changeling so its very straining to keep one form for a long time, even changing forms is tiring" she added her tummy rumbled agreeing with her, "you got any bread?" she asked
