Live show with actors dressed up as the characters in the people world. Give it more songs including the ones from the movies. Use the cartoon for the pony scenes in Equestria.

I am pretty sure EG and RR got some pretty heavy criticism as it is. I do not think investing in a play would result in success.

I've never watched either, I downloaded EG yesterday, but I've heard a lot of negative about it so I have been hesitant.

That would be a very unusual move for Hasbro. To make a stage production based on a children's series mediocre spin off movie doesn't seem like a recipe for success. I'll hold my excitement.
