It's so cool seeing the variety of where people live!

Where I was born/grew up but is still home to me even though I don't live there anymore:

houston-tx-security-companies_zps204e997

Where I lived for 3 years before moving here:

Where I live now:

I like it because there's a lot of this:

Though I didn't take this picture.  XD  I don't know those people, haha.

I live in the peaceful town of Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. The young residents here say that it's boring, but that's fine by me. Because I want to have peace wherever I live.

Here some pics of Downtown Bowmanville:

An aerial shot:

post-29975-0-37955700-1417104397.jpg (Please excuse the Metro text. It's for a new name of a grocery store which already happen a few years ago. This is the best aerial shot I could find. This aerial shot was used for a real estate company for my town's mall.)

Bowmanville quite famously is known for its private zoo, which is the oldest privately-owned zoo in Canada. Some animals from the zoo were even used for some recent movies (the most recent one being Life of Pi. A Bengal Tiger named "Jonas" from the zoo was used for that movie).

Lastly (for the racecar enthusiasts), Bowmanville is also known for the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly the Mosport International Raceway).

There is a few more things about Bowmanville I could post here, but I'll let you guys look up the info:

Update June 2, 2015:

Recently there has been a new video tour made to showcase the town from the bird's eye view perspective. Check it! :D

Ladies and Gentleman, dear Ponies, may I present to you:

Großrettbach, Thüringen (Thuringia)

z88d7ha023747-a_luftbild_grossrettbach_7

A very small village, 200 people live here.

Well, we don't have anything special here at all. Not even a bar like every other village in the surrounding.

But we have the best Football (Soccer) Field. :D

And 2016 Großrettbach becomes 1230 years old. :)

It's called other today but nobody really knows and so everyone still calls it "LPG". :)

Pretty dull city imo. :/

The town hall and surrounding buildings have that same neo-gothic architecture I'd associate with Paris and many other French cities. Not especially exciting, but pleasant enough.

The castle is pretty kick-ass though. I wonder what the purpose of that small tower is — the one between the keep and the gatehouse.

IT'S FRANCE. LOVE IT.

Atleast you got buildings that show age and history. We've got boring modernly-designed buildings. :/

There's some pretty cool architecture in central Sydney. Sydney Town Hall is fancier than the Hôtel de Ville in Vincennes. Also the NSW Art Gallery, the GPO, Hyde Park Barracks, the observatory, and the Australian Museum. If you take a walk around the Rocks, you'll see a fascinating blend of modern architecture and old converted warehouses. And how could anybody forget the bridge and the opera house?

Once you get outside the CBD, things are less interesting.

It's probably something super-secret in there. They won't let people in. Maybe it's the gateway to Equestria?!

I've always wanted to live in Canada, anyway I live in Zanesville, Ohio, it's a small city with less than 30,000 people living here, everything's in spoilers below:

^Lorena Paddlewheeler I guess?

Yeah this city is pretty tame, not much going on, and it's a real shame we're basically only known for when the exotic animals were let loose and killed :/

Damn my city looks like it'd be a good spot for a horror movie.
