If you haven't realized, I tend to take a band, completely fangasm about them, then let them slowly subside to the peripheral of my music library. After a few months, I listen to them again and then get really into them, and then begin to neglect them, only to repeat the cycle.

 

I'm not exactly the most faithful to music I like.

 

Oh, and this isn't technically rock, it's ska.

Still, this band holds a special place in my heart <3

 

 

 

My taste in music never really changes, it just expands, I guess you could say. Like I never used to listen to music with screaming because I didn't think I liked it, but after I started listening to Avenged Sevenfold's older stuff, I realized I don't mind screaming sometimes, it just depends on the band. And I never thought I would be listening to something like BTBAM, but look at me now

 

Since you mentioned ska, I really only know one ska song, which is this one:

Dude...I can't believe you mentioned the Digimon soundtrack. You have no idea how much I used to listen to that as a kid. Digimon was my absolute favorite show as a kid.

And as for your favorite band, a lot of Rush fans that I know of say that, with Rush it's either you love them or you look down on them. I love Rush to death though I wouldn't call them my all-time favorite, Radiohead have that title as of now.

Man what's all this Digimon shit on here? Everyone knows it's all about Pokemon. But seriously, I've burnt countless hours playing Pokemon.

But yeah, the Pokemon games were my entire childhood. I played those games every day of my life, I was so obsessed with them.

Digimon had the better show, but Pokemon had the better games and trading cards.

 

Pokemon probably had better movies though.

There was only like 3 or 4 Digimon movies while Pokemon has over 10 of them, and only the first Digimon movie is known to be notable.

One of my favorite bands is AFI:

They're only second to Avenged Sevenfold to me, which this thread seems to have plenty of already.

Pop Evil is another band I've been fond of lately, their War of Angels album is really great but their latest song Trenches is probably the best thing they have ever released:
