Never heard of Venom but if they are as good as you say they are I am going to give them a listen. And I love me some sonic youth. 

 

Soundgarden posted this song I listened to it and I really liked it.

 

And I know I have posted a lot of Social Distortion lately but since I have just now really gotten into them... They have become if not my all time favorite band easily. Heck I have already bought every single one of their albums from Itunes. From Mommy's little Monster, Prison Bound, Social Distortion, Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell, White light, white heat, and white trash (a very underrated album imo, Sex, love, & Rock n' roll my favorite album by them, and Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. Yeah I love them a lot now :P. 

 

This song by SD is just my god I could listen to this band for ages... they are like the perfect example of what I love in music.

I adore Shai Hulud, so intense and aggressive. They also score very high in the lyrical department

I've loved this song since before I knew it was Papa Roach. (Didn't get into them for at least a few years after I knew this song)

I actually haven't really heard this album at all, I just know this song. Probably heard it on the radio since that was my ONLY source of music for a few years when I was younger.

Now that I'm listening to them I might as well go listen to some more. I have both Paramour Sessions and Getting Away With Murder but haven't heard either for quite awhile. TO YOUTUBE............again.

I like that song, but I'm not a Papa Roach fan. I only know that song, and that song called "Scars" or something.

 

Last Resort is kind catchy though lol

How can you say you aren't a fan if you haven't even heard their better songs like I'm Not Listening, ...To Be Loved or I Devise My Own Demise? :lol:

 

Scars was their most popular song but it is honestly one of their worst songs. Go listen to one of the songs I just mentioned. They are far better. :P

I really love the vocalist for Papa Roach, he's most of the reason I listen to them I think but with songs like I Devise My Own Demise I also love the background stuff.

 

That song you posted...I like the guitar but not sure what to think of the vocals. Seems like one of those bands I'll have to listen to a couple more songs for.

 

I still need to hear some of the newer stuff for this band, this is about as new as I've heard:

I've never been a big Linkin Park fan, but I like a little bit of their old stuff and a couple songs from their 3rd album I think.

 

I haven't really listened to the really new stuff.

I loved their first three albums (technically two since Live In Texas didn't have anything new on it. :lol: ) but then Minutes to Midnight came and I didn't care for most of the album. Haven't listened to their stuff since.

@@Discordian,

 

I don't know if you know about this, but I just found out about this. The guitarist of Disturbed apparently has a new band just like David Draiman does, and this is one of their songs, I think the album is coming out like tomorrow or something, idk. It's not a bad song.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever.

 

Speaking of Disturbed, I think Haunted has become one of my absolute favorite songs by them.

Dude, I love Symphony of Destruction!!! Countdown to Extinction is my favorite Megadeth album after Rust In Peace. I don't like Super Collider, I think it's boring.

No matter what I do, or what new bands I discover, I somehow always seem to go back to Pearl Jam, and this song in particular.
This performance in East-Troy, Wisconsin is my all-time favourite live gig, and It just doesn't get Eddie Vedder than this.
It's a real shame I never got to experience the Jam during the "Ten" and "Versus" -era.
