is there anyway to change my username? thank you for helping me

First you go to your profile, and just above where your status would be it should say "edit my profile"

 

After you click that there will be options on the left, one of them will say display name.

Click that and choose your desired name C:

 

if the name you want is taken, ask an admin if you can claim it.

not sure if Moderators and Staff members can change them.

Click the arrow next to your name on the black bar at the top. Choose "My Settings". Click "Display Name" on the left. Now you can choose a new name.

Yes there is.

Click on your name and then click on 'My Settings'.

Once there, look on the left hand side for 'Display Name', and click it. Then change it to something that suits your style.

Please keep in mind you can only change it 3 times every 30 days.

Yes the is as a matter of fact

If you go to your profile, and then to "Edit my profile" you should see down the side of the page, different settings groups, there should be one called "Display name" click on it and you'll be taken to a page where you can change your name. You can make up to 3 name changes per month.

 

Also, doing this only changes your display name and does not effect your login username.

It depends what you're referring to when you say username. 

You can change the display name, which is the name that everyone on the forums will see. However, you cannot change the username you use to log into the site with. 

 

To change the display name: 

1. Go to your profile. 

2. Go to "edit my profile"

3. Go to "display name" 

4. Enter your new display name.

Note that:

• changing your username will not change the name you log in with
• you can only change your username 3 times in 30 days (3 times in 15 days if you are a donor or subscriber)
• if someone else already has the username, you will not be able to change your username
