Equestria has been through a rather turbulent time for the past few years. However, now everything has seemed to have died down and peace seems to have taken over. Monsters are rarely seen and there hasn't been any sign of any sort of evil brewing. It is very odd, the pessimisstic would say this is the calm before a great storm, while the optimistic would say this is finally the end of evil. The leaders of the differing kingdoms are of mixed opinions.

 

Princess Celestia prefers to see this as a time of peace and believes that the greatest challenges and now behind them. Princess Luna though sees this time of peace as very ominous, a foreshadowing to something terrible. While Celestia has decided to keep her guard at normal levels, Luna has increased her number of guards and has sent out scouts in the night to keep an eye on different parts of equestria and the differing kingdoms.

 

During this time though, both princesses have been attending to their royal duties. Currently, they both are holding audiences in Canterlot to deal with many different issues.
