What can't North Korea find the magic of friendship?

North Korea just wants to be a bully, since Korea was bullied by Japan in 1910 until the end of WW2. North Korea has made it's laws around communism ever since Kim Il Sung took power in 1945. Ever since the US and Russia were required to split land after WW2 concluded (except for Japan since the US used the Atomic Bomb) eventually being one of the major reasons leading up the Cold War . I believe they are a problem and are one of the many reasons I chose to enlist, because if anything is going to happen I would like to see my home country united and have a prosperous United Korea. Even though it would be nice for the world to (poof) and be at peace, but sometimes peace must be attained by violence.

Very well said. I think everyone should think like that.

At least, the part about peace.

You know, if NK didn't kill people and constantly need to brainwash people with over-the-top propaganda..

I would be absolutely okay with the government controlling censorship of Western media. In fact, I can only hope that some sort of thing like that comes into play in other places, too.

And now I wait for the hatemail: "HOW DARE YOU YOU COMMUNIST SCUM"

I'm not gonna hate on you for your opinion, but could you please give a solid answer why would you want to live in a Communist world?

I'd like to live in a Socialist world in general; essentially a utopia

As for communism ehh, it's a taste of Socialism, I respect the desire to maintain one's culture as a country. Identity crisis is already a huge problem in places like Japan and India. If you took out the murder, blatantly insane propaganda, and other things like that would it REALLY be so different from other places? Several countries are still bitter at each other over previous wars/events (most recently Ukraine and Russia).

If there is one thing I learned about North Korea, is that they are so desperate for war that they would literally go as far as to make a hissy fit about something so small. Compared to other countries, I say its got to be the most immature.

Personally, I would be able to tolerate both Socialistic and Capitalistic types of countries.

Both Communism and Fascism is where I draw the line.

I think if a true Marxist communistic society existed, it would be amazing. Karl Marx was a genius. (Read his Communist Manifesto)

North Korea may threaten war occasionally but they know that if they follow through with it that they be blown to smithereens. North Korea is a classic case of what happens when you have way too much power in hands of too few people, power is like a drug to certain people no matter how much they have it is never quite enough and they will do anything no matter how reprehensible to maintain said power or grab yet even more of it.

My only question is this.

Is such a society would certain freedoms like freedom of speech, religion, and others exists?

Im really scared that North Korea will come and kill us all.

Don't worry. South Korea spends more on its military than the North spends on its entire budget.

As for that so-called "nation", the north has been robbed of its humanity. They are brainwashed and deluded. They are perhaps the closest thing our world has to Mordor. It's called the land of shadow. Look at this. Can't even see the north at night. It is a literal land of darkness.

I don't see why not. Marxist Communism (aka Marxism) "is a worldview and method of societal analysis that focuses on class relations and societal conflict, that uses a materialist interpretation of historical development, and a dialectical view of social transformation. Marxist methodology uses economic and sociopolitical inquiry and applies that to the critique and analysis of the development of capitalism and the role of class struggle in systemic economic change." http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marxism#21st_century

I know that was a bit off topic but I find it fascinating :)
