Have a a soft spot for "Holding My Thoughts in My Heart", always bring out that sweet sweet nostalgia in me

That and "Anxious Heart" are the most defining FF7 tunes to me

Nobuo Uematsu's soundtracks shaped my life during high school (99-03). There's just too many breathtakingly brilliant pieces. Some of these songs are absolutely stunning. He really knows how to capture the emotion of a scene or an environment.

This piece from XI isn't Uematsu, but it was basically the soundtrack to my life back in 04-05

It would be physically impossible for me to pick a favourite. I love that music like I've got nothing else to listen to. I even went to the Distant Worlds concert two years in a row, despite having to fly across the whole country(Australia) to get there. 10/10 would fly again.

It was actually in my city last august. Or was it april?

It was too late for me, though :(

And now for everyone's favorite villain!

I would like to respectfully disagree (Kefka's in my first place slot  :P ).  Of course, I've never gotten around to playing FFVII, so that may be the reason.  Though I do like Dancing Mad (Kefka's final boss theme) more than One-Winged Angel (which is still good, just not my favorite).  Speaking of Dancing Mad, why hasn't that been posted yet?  I must rectify this grave injustice.

Kefka was never really that good to me, just a psychotic mess. His appearance in dissidea(however you spell it, never really took off.
