Anypony here a wrestling fan? Well this is the place for you to discuss the comings and goings in the world of wrestling.

Whether it be how good this weeks matches were, how boring this weeks matches were, who should be on top, who is overrated, what is really the best promotion, what each company is doing wrong,  classic moments of the past, your dream matches, your favorite wrestlers, how the next PPV is going to turn out or just to post your favorite matches. Whether you're a member of the WWE universe, a fan of TNA, a fan of ROH or the North American indy scene, fan of Lucha Underground or Lucha Libre in general, a fan of NJPW or Japanese puroresu in general.

Whatever kind of wrestling you watch, you name it, this is the place for you!

Now get to posting!

*DING!*

Mostly a WWE fan here(despite some of their recent screw-ups). Though I do pine for the days of ECW, WCW and the Monday Night Wars

My favorite Wrestler though is and will always be The Undertaker

Watch Wrestling for almost 15 Years now.

I try to watch as much as i can, which involves WWE, ROH or NJPW. I also like alot of old school stuff from the 80's and 90's, during the times of the NWA and later WCW and ECW.

My all time favorite Wrestler is The Rock and my current favorite is Bray Wyatt.

Jesus, the Gooker. He was hyped beyond believe and the very second he popped out of his egg, he was booed by the audience.

Fun Fact: Under this costume was Hector Guerrero, Eddies Brother.

Anyone here gonna be watching Wrestlemania 31 next month?

I am very excited, because they made Sting vs. Triple H and Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt official last night at Fastlane.

I'm glad Randy Orton is back and all but...where's Batista? Surely the hype over Guardians of the Galaxy would be over by now

Batista gets alot of movie offers now. It's rumoured that he will play the villain in the Highlander remake. I don't think Batista will comeback soon and he really dosen't like the PG route WWE has taken.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, ordered the ROH 13th anniversary show. Rather dull by ROH standards. The only highlights for me was the Young Bucks vs. ReDRagon for the tag titles in another spectacular match from those two teams. A.C.H. vs. AJ Styles wasn't quite the high flying spectacle I was expecting, but it was still a fine match.

I think I'm starting to see the problem in wrestling programming, and that is time, too much of it. The best wrestling programs i'm noticing are the ones that are only an hour long, namely ROH, Lucha Underground, King of Sports: NJPW, and WWE NXT. Those get the most acclaim by cutting down on promo segments, cutting out backstage scenes, and focusing on in ring action. Short and sweet. While WWE Raw/Smackdown & TNA Impact meander on with their 2-3 hour programs, filling it with lots of talking, backstage segments & recaps from the previous week (or even earlier in the night). All the while there are too many matches and the audience gets bored seeing the same thing.

I find myself fast forwarding through half the raw broadcast anyways. As far as what's developing, the IC title ladder match will probably steal the show.  The drama with the tag titles is unnecessary. Just let the rivalry be for the belts between two great teams, rather than as follow up to the rivalry between the wives of the two teams. Reigns vs. Lesnar probably won't be as bad as people are thinking, but Reigns still is nowhere ready to be world champ at this point. So I'm hoping Rollins cashes in his championship contract and ends the show as champ, as Rollins has both the ability, the charisma and the experience needed to be world champ. He has been built properly to be a singles star. Roman Reigns has not.
