Does this mean NWA Power is returning soon, too?

Doubt it, considering Jame Storm is back in Impact, Wade Barrett is on NXT, Eddie Kingston, Ricky Starks & Thunderrosa are on AEW,  producer Dave Lagana 'resigned' and Director of Operations Maureen Tracy has finished with the company, much to the dismay of all who knew her.

So this NWA Shockwave is a second try, I guess.

It's a colaboration with the United Wrestling Network out of LA and a resurrection of the old NWA shockwave name. In some ways the original Shockwave (formerly Cyberspace wrestling federation out of NJ) was a sister fed to Impact wrestling in the early to mid 00s. Also one of the earliest wrestling feds to take advantage of web casting (or streaming as you young people call it).

Welp. The cleaner was on last night's impact. The show got a massive boost on twitch. How much? Last week they had like 2K viewers. This week? Over 50K. And like 21K of new subscribers. There was also a funny 90s style ad of Khan and Schiovone AKA team Tony big timing the Fed and threatening to outright buy impact. And Tony S commenting he called for impact once, then quit the business for 18 years. Other than that?

Spoiler

Don Calls revealed that him managing Kenny is a debt being paid to Kenny's uncle, the Golden Sheik for doing the same for his career. Kenny is teasing becoming a belt collector ala Austin Aries, and impact teased their world champ Rich Swan being none to pleased about being big timed by the cleaner.

Other than that, impact has the knock outs tag title tournament, Eddie vs. Sammy II, an angry Moose carrying the old TNA World title, Eric young teaming with former All Japan Triple Crown champ and modern day Stan Hansen, Joe During, Tommy Dreamer not being happy about Kenny and Don waltzing in, And Diana Perazzo vs Rosemary is set for Final Resolution. No BC reunion yet. They weren't even on the show.

BURN!

Jim Ross may have been the voice of most of my wresting watching "career", but Tony Schiavone is the voice I hear when I look back on

watching wrestling in the late 90's.

I swear that Moxley/Ambrose is about to turn into a werewolf in that thumbnail.

That's actually Sami Callihan, Mox's former tag partner in their pre-wwe tag team, the Switchblade Conspiracy.

Rest In Peace Brodie Lee aka Luke Harper. :(

There goes that dream match with Lance Archer.

This one hits a bit harder. He was just starting to make a comeback. He was finally in his prime. Finally showing his range in the ring, in a faction, as the character. Now we're all wondering what could've been. But at least we got to see a little bit it.

Rest in Power, Exhalted One. May your legacy live on.
