I like ladybugs, I sometimes search for them outside and let them crawl on my finger and observe it before she flies away.

I agree, although IMO when a fly rubs his legs I think it's doing the "sinister hand rub while plotting something" cliche. As in a fly does that before he lands on its target.

Me and bugs, it's like Israel and the rest of the middle east.

Meaning I generally refuse to acknowledge their right to exist.

I like moths, butterflies, caterpillars, grubs, bees, Christmas beetles, grasshoppers, and praying mantids the most. I like to let praying mantids crawl on me but sometimes they get stuck in my hair. Also, I know they aren't bugs, but I like spiders and letting them crawl on my face XD

Ok, that one made me lol.

I like praying manti, (plural of mantis?) and butterflies.  Ladybugs are alright.

I've got a tri-fecta for you and they are all in the same family.

The Bombardier, Tiger, and Rhino (or Hercules) Beetles!

img-3507388-3-Six-spotted-Tiger-Beetle-0

Why? Because the Tiger beetle it so fast that it can't see at it's top speed so it has to lock in on it's prey and hit it like a living missile. Yeah, that's right. To scale, it's speed is relativistic!

The Hercules beetle is the biggest of the rhino family, and they are have super strength. Able to lift 850 times their own weight. That's the equivalent of a human lifting 65 tons!

Lastly the bombardier.

. . . . . It's a living gun. . . . . do I need to say more?! :P

The Praying Mantis is really cool looking. They look like they're from another planet!

They're also one of the only animals that fight with a degree of skill. At least as much that humans can draw inspiration from them when designing a particularly effective martial arts system.

I most certainly do not. I can not believe people would actually let bugs touch them/walk on them. Just... No. lol

What's the harm of just a cute little caterpillar wiggling up your finger?

Oh, that takes me back. I used to do that when I was very young in the fall. I would find those fuzzy little guys and just gently pet them.

Well I don't know if it counts for a like? But I do think some bugs are pretty extreme creatures. Did you know Scorpions glow in the dark when lit with a UV light? Or that there are ladybugs who'll submit to freezing cryogenic stasis throughout the winter and then when it's warm and spring comes around they'll melt and revive... And let's not forget the incredible Super Human like abilities many bugs possess like the common ant can lift the weight of a car with their heads. and that The grasshopper's leap is equal to a human leaping an entire football field from field goal to field goal... Or that like the Ant particularly the Army Ant who have warrior characteristics they team up and overpower anything that gets in their way the Hornet thinks a lot of the same way well some bees think a lot like the Feudal Japan Samurai fight never knowing if they'll survive the battle so they fought with everything they had... They were fearless. When a bee stings you it's often their last and only sting because after they've stung you, they die. I also like the preying mantis because they've inspired a fighting style. They are many cool bugs out there. The Spider has inspired a real superhero with their individual traits. Spider web silk in the human reality is 2X as strong as steel. Bugs are truly amazing extreme creatures... Not sure I like any of them because many spiders are icky poison filled nightmares some hide away in bananas or are sooo fast they can evade a pesky broom and crawl up the stick and land a bite on it's would be attack/killer and even a harmless little caterpillar could kill a man... The little thorny ones with the venom and if you stepped on one, causes excruciating poison pain and soon death and also swarming ants make my skin crawl and many females kill their male mates but they're still pretty cool to look at. some are very colorful and beautiful and Idk if it's true that a lady bug could bring luck... Some could easily bring misfortune as their is a ladybug impersonator who has a nasty bite.
