MidnightPallette1992 53 February 17, 2015 Share February 17, 2015 I am 23 years old. I download pictures of MLP R 34 and Clopfic.I enjoy it and occasionally look at it sometimes. It is my alternative to having an intimate relationship with a real human. But i have many concerns due to influence to younger or older people on the internet. I hope those images are not pirated or copyrighted or else the police arrest an innocent bystander like myself. I know sure as hell that Hasbro doesn't make that kind of stuff. I don't think the images being copyrighted would matter as long as you are not selling it. No one really cares if you clop or not. You're a grown adult who can make his own life choices. What you do with your life is what you do. Not counting the outlawed kind of porn, of course. I highly doubt copyright laws would ever cover explicit fanworks. Shanks 10,811 February 17, 2015 Share February 17, 2015 (edited) Getting arrested for downloading some R34 is very unlikely and though it is copyrighted/patented material companies that own said copyrights/patents rarely go after R34 because of the unnecessary attention to it that would bring to said material and thus cause damage to their reputations as companies. They would just rather pretend the stuff dosen't even exist rather than actually go out of their way to stifle it which if anything would be an exercise in futility. As for younger people seeing this stuff though I would agree that they shouldn't there is no perfect solution to that, parents should take an active role in knowing what their kids are watching and some do while others don't but even those that do there is still no guarantee that they won't see a few things. I watch clop and R34 in general fairly regularly and I just enjoy it in private, discuss it when and where appropriate and don't post it where it dosen't belong. If you like clop/R34 than that is your business and if you like it and want to watch it than go ahead and do so. I think this stuff is only bad if you let it run your life, I don't use as a substitute for relationships per se but I use to get enough of a release to take the edge off but not so much to where it runs my life. If you are concerned about the ethics of looking at R34 in general than if you are that uncomfortable you can decided not to look at that if you want but if you ask me getting off to cartoon characters is quite harmless.
