But even that betrays a view that the world will, without exception, seek to do you harm. Ezekiel would say that cynicism can be just as blinding as optimism.

That is true, but Crackshot would probably say that he's less cynical about ponies and more aware, since this is a world full of traitors and/or desperate ponies. Ezekiel's never had to fight for his life growing up, but being raised in the raider life isn't the safest upbringing :P

Anyway, someone summarize what happened in the RP for me. Quote my post, please, so I can track it down.

Basically, we're going after this organisation that's involved in creating a toxin bent on wiping out the tainted population of the wasteland, so one group is off to find information while the other is off to find a mysterious cyberpony

Okay, I would just call bullshit on that one. In this world the Raiders are hardly the victims they are the predators if anything they have it better at least more than their victims who can't even defend themselves.

I don't suppose you are looking for any more people to join? If you are, I would like to sign up (if you would like to have me at all that is to say) my character Dyna Mite

I don't see why not :D

I've seen Dyna in action before, she's adorable :pinkie:

And she'll definitely make things interesting ;)

All down to Defender of course, just saying I'm all good with it :)

Don't we already have enough people?

No offense Jonas, it's just sometimes a group gets so large it's unwieldy. I'm not the GM so I can't decide if that limit's been reached yet but Defender has said he can only theoretically take on so much more.

Although I agree that Dyna actually feels like an authentic Fallout Equestria character.

Well it might help even out the groups, since one has four and the other has three

To be frank with as little as scribble has been posting lately I don't think one more would hurt :P

Plus who doesn't love jonas :P

I know I do :pinkie:

(Timeskip, Group 1, Aile, Crackshot, Greshken, Ezekiel) A thick fog blanketed the wasteland, most especially the outskirts of Manehattan in which the group finds themselves in. A small, weak fire crackled between the group members as it desperately tried to keep itself alight, let alone cook the beans inside the pot that hovered over the pit. Pale Moonlight added to the eerie fog's creepiness and further worsened the visibility for those unequipped with technology to enhance their sight. Sinister bellowing could be heard from the restless creatures that inhabited the outskirts of Manehattan, their silhouettes obscured in the fog making it difficult for anypony to make out what they were from just appearance. A faint rumbling could also be heard from the encampment in which the group resided in as well, bright, but obscured claps of thunder could be made out from fog and were positioned in the general direction in which the other group would be located in.

You are aware Ezekiel has an amulet of light around his neck right? That fog won't be much of a problem for long unless you actually want it to be.

I read the profile, an app still needs to be made though.

How does his amulet work? I'm gonna take a stab at it that it illuminates the immediate area in which Ezekiel is in(at least that's what I feel isn't too OP and would still make the fog sort-of a problem.)

Well according to the PNP rules, it creates "SA^2" feet of light whatever that means and grants a bonus to speech checks meant to inspire hope in others. It also keeps anypony with it's blessing from experiencing nightmares.

I have no idea what the means either. And Ezekiel is the only one blessed by it, right?

I think it has to do with a specific kind of dice, what the rules were meant for. You're right though, the fog would still be a problem, especially if it's not natural at all. And given this is a post-apocalypse of megaspells and Equestria to begin with, that seems rather likely.

Yes, Ezekiel was given the talisman as a gift to keep him safe on his journey. He himself did not bind the spirit to it but Birch Beer, the Archdruid of the Harmony Oasis. So it actually has more power than Ezekiel could call upon at this current level.

Presumably, he could give the talisman to another and they could benefit from it if both Ezekiel and the spirit considered the recipient worthy.
