Parties like Pinkie 385 May 28, 2012 Share May 28, 2012 Think about it this way: In human form, we're all Earthen beings, therefore we are all Earth Ponies already. That rules out that option. Unicorns are beings of magic, which would make our everyday lives a whole lot easier. HOWEVER as human beings, with easiness comes laziness, and we would soon use magic to do everything, becoming fat lard lumps. That rules out that option. Leaving Pegasi. As Pegasi, humans would be able to do numerous things: 1) Fly to their destinations, saving time, gas, money, etc. 2) While flying, exercise, as the wings would be considered a muscle group, and you'd need to constantly flex and unflex those muscles. 3) Reach high up places that were normally inaccessible etc. etc. Which is why my choice is Pegasus. I don't fancy putting non-edible things in my mouth, so writing would suck if I couldn't be a unicorn. Also, for more powerful unicorns, I'm sure they could teach themselves to fly without wings. Probably wouldn't be as fast, but still, flying's flying. It just seems like life would be really inconvenient being a pony would can't utilize magic. Would you prefer speed and freedom, or magical powers? or just be a plain old, pony! Please give reasons/examples why! If you can imagine yourself becoming a pony, I don't see that your lack of athletic ability in the real world should factor into it. And we all know that Fluttershy can keep up with RD, from s2e2. And The Last Roundup, she's pulling a cart, to keep up with FOUR stallions. They would still be twice as strong as Flutteryshy on average. Not necessarily. Every creature has a limit, where it would harm physical being going past said limit. Rainbow Dash's SONIC RAINBOOM is her limit seeing as how she makes use of adrenaline each time. And, technically, she could only get weaker, when the effects of adrenaline are weakened, due to it being like dopamine, the more you use, the less it works. Any creature can be pushed to the body's breaking point, eg Exhaustion stage of exercise, where the body breaks itself down to keep going. So, of course Fluttershy would probably never need this kind of awesome strength and will never use it. And even if you debunk this theory, what about the instances of her keeping up with, and even overtaking, Rainbow Dash?
