Favorite Species of Pony and Why?

Despite the pony version of me in my avatar being a unicorn, I would also have to say pegasus. I mean, who wouldn't want to fly, and in my own opinion, I think the pegasi ponies have the best designs. (ex. Thunderlane, Cloudchaser, Rainbow Dash, etc.)

Hmm... well, this is a tough choice for me, as I like all pony types/races. Although I do like pegasus ponies, I pretty much favor all types of them, in my honest opinion.

I like unicorns, i've always had interest in magic in all kinds of things. And yeah pegasi can fly, but technically with some work unicorns can find ways to fly and do many other things( I know it takes crazy skills but still.)

I am also afraid of heights IRL so idk how much i'd like flying.

I think Alicorn makes it an unfair option for the poll and kind of tampers with what the topic was trying to gauge originally D: The trade-off of EITHER flying or magic.

 

Personally I would also take Pegasus :3 It seems the most fun and interesting to have permanently, all-be-it not as versatile as a unicorn. The number of Earth Ponies is fairly surprising though, they seem so ordinary when compared to the unique sides of the pegasus and unicorn ;^;

Changed :3 Sorry about that, didn't read the OP carefully enough the first go around. Was trying to keep some reminiscence of the merged topic, which did have Alicorns as an option, but the trade-off factor does make it an unneeded addition to the poll.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, and I didn't find anything related to this topic, but by the looks of it it fits.

 

So, let me cut the cheese. If you were granted the ability to change into a pony and move to Equestria what kind of pony would you be? If I could go to Equestria I would be a pegasus. Reason being. I've been interested in flight ever since i could remember, I'd love to live a life full of freedom and speed, last reason being, pegasi are awesome

I know that this thread, along with any others i have made or will make, has a slim chance of getting any views, but I am going to keep posting until ONE OF THEM BUCKING DOES!!!!!

Probably I would be an earth pony, because it's humble and not crazy dependent on flying and stuff. Independent and really humble. #chivalry

 

Plus, if you do something that pegasi or unicorns can do and you're an earth pony (i.e. Octavia playing double bass) then you can be all like "mare, I run these horseapples"

I've already posted my preference for unicorn. Magic is cool, every unicorn has a unique magic. But telekinesis is what sells the species for me. Scrubbing a floor as a human means a lot of elbow grease. Imagine doing the same thing with no physical strain, no bending, no perspiration.

Unicorn for me, using magic to grab thins would be so handy, especially if i was a pony and didn't have fingers. Besides, Twilight gave rarity wings so surely a unicorn skilled enough could give themselves wings. Even if just temporary.

Earth Pony, people say they are talentless, but I seem them as the most special, they make excellent food, they are great at building, they can perform magic (magic as in earth pony magic), and they could just build themselves wings. They can hold things with their hooves, they can pretty much do everything a unicorn/pegasus can and cannot do. Why all the hate for them?

I'd say earth pony. I'm more of one myself, and they seem to be the hard working ones, and the strong ones who get things done. Since i'm in a General Bella mood, i'd say that they are great fighters as well. More power that unicorn or pegasus, sinse they have help by magic or wings.
