I am loving Fluttershy and Pinkie, though. But mostly Fluttershy, I love how she is trying to save her ponies on her own. It's sweet and shows how much she has grown.

I'm getting a bad feeling Starlight's contingency plan will involve something along the lines of mind control. It only seems logical for a villain of her type. She wants her village to thrive under a united banner of communism equality, but what happens when somepony steps out of line? Take away their free will as a warning to others.

 

I mean, look at the other ponies in the town. Either they were frightened into submission, or they were brainwashed. What Starlight has going on here is very sinister, and I fear that this is only the beginning.

I honestly see more of a totalitarism town rather than a communist kind of town, because of all the control in the medias, like the books with the equal signs and the radio with the messagaes.

Also, I am surprised that I heard the word "brainwashed", which is a surprise for me to hear that in MLP

There's no way you can screw up a setup this good - at least I hope not
