spoiler Equestria Girls 3 plot summary theory

So after a little bit of digging around on the internet and a little bit of reasearch i fited together a theory...

(speculation)maybe))

So the movie is called Freindship Games...we dont know the rival school untill now, by a little digging a the rival school the wondercolts fighting will be called Crystal Academy, and by theory Human Twilight will be attending there beacuse of Evil Sunset and other obvious reasons (Pinkie Pie forshadowing in the first movie) also i heard rumours about Midnight Sparkle  i dont know if she will apear in the movie or not but there are 2 ways that i see her incorparted in the story.

 

1. Human Twilight gets indirect contact to the main villian and his or her magic will create an evil clone of Human Twilight thus creating Midnight Sparkle as an individual entity or the second reason.

 

2. Human Twi will be like an Ultron situation and use some sort of magic to accidently create Midnight or she herself will become Midnght Sparkle

 

IF midnight sparkle appears she will be the main villian as this will an sports day like events only with archery etc

 

although they have not annouced anything substainal i manged to create a theory.. but when more things are annouced i will rework my theory but tell me your thoughts.. that and since H-twilight has been investagating the school at th end of Rainbow Rocks it is safe to assume that H-twilight will have a suspicion about Canterlot High and the Wondercolts and Sunset Shimmer will be amazing in the film as always.

 

also i have the title for the film and it is all legit so look if you will: hope you guys enjoy... remember this is all speculation and dont take this too seriously.. please have discretion when theory building

MLP Wikia has started a thread on it, but I haven't seen any hard confirmation for it. It's like when Kotaku confirmed Fallout 4 18 million times. If it hasn't come directly from Hasbro then I won't believe it.

Well, anything is possible as it stands. If the rival school is really called the Crystal Academy, it would be awesome to see if Cadence is indeed the principal there, though I suppose it's possible that Sombra and/or Chrysalis are the heads of school there. XD

On doing further research, mlpmerch stated that the 2015 London Toy Fair unveiled it's new line up in anticipation for this year's equestria girls movie. So, if Hasbro is rolling out a new toy line, then it's confirmed. I wonder, though, are they going to do EG like the Land Before time? I swear there was about 19 of them.

that sounds like a school you attend if you're not doing the best in school...

Yeah, Cadence and Shining are [Vice]Principal.

But if Cadence kinda 'belongs' to Celestia, it could be OWNED by that school, making Canterlot:

A) The dominating school

B ) The Rich School

C) The First School

D) A Private School

E) A Part of a K-12 School

But if Cadence kinda 'belongs' to Celestia, it could be OWNED by that school, making Canterlot:

Celstia 'rules' Canterot High, so maybe Sombra (maybe) is the princpal of Crystal Prep (maybe) but then again Cadence is like the head teacher or student representive

I am not sure about this theory of your's but I am pretty sure we will be seeing this Midnight Sparkle in some sort of villain role so I'll say you got that much damn right.

At least then he might be given some more exposure if only briefly. Since the students of CPA are poised to be antagonists it would make sense to have an antagonist leading their school and possibly add an element to the Midnight Sparkle development(dark magic or the corrupting of the Mane 6's magic perhaps).

 

But I can easily picture Cadance being the current principal and Hasbro keeping the plot simpler for the movie. For starters Cadance is already much more established than Sombra now in the show and a princess to boot(merchandise!). She's arguably a more pliable, likable character and would be a close associate of Celestia's thus serving as a friendly rival. 

 

But given the almost negligible presence of Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna - particularly in RR -  I have a strong feeling it won't make a huge difference who's in charge.

Hard to imagine Cadence as a snotty arrogant principal. Principal Chrysalis sounds like a better antagonist. Cadence is her vice president/secretary that she bosses and orders around like fetch her latte frappuchino and Shining Armor is the gym teacher avoiding the advances of Peachbottom. When Equestria High beats Crystal Academy the board of directors Tirek and Discord decides Chrysalis isn't cut out to be principal and replaces her with Cadence and Chrysalis becomes the janitor who raises her fist angrily that someday she will get her position back.

 

Okay that was a mouthful.
