Was pony Flash a bit too laid-back with Twilight?

In the first movie, when Twilight returned to Equestria, the pony version of Flash Sentry knocks into her and helps her up, even casually giving the same line as the human Flash did. But was his interaction with her just a bit too casual? He didn't seem concerned that he just knocked over a princess, especially a princess who, as everyone knows, is the younger sister of his BOSS. He didn't really apologize, either.

I think it has to do with how friendly the environment is in Equestria. Things are a little less tense. I don't really care for Flash, but I think his behavior was pretty normal.

Still doesn't ring any bells. I don't remember this guy playing any significant role in the show. As far as I'm concerned, he's just another nameless background character. And there was never a magic mirror to the human world. And the force has nothing to do with midichlorians.

Flash Sentry is a guard in Celestia's castle. But has only been shown in two episodes. and the movies.

Also he was the human that Human Twilight had a crush on all of a sudden.

I think it was in the Crystal Empire castle since the mirror was sent to cadence to watch over, and that's where the first movie took place. Also in the two episodes he has been in, he was either with Princess Cadence or in the Crystal Empire.

I'm curious as to if stallion Flash actually feels anything for her like that. There wasn't a deep explanation of Flash's stallion counterpart and we didn't get to meet him like we met his human.

 

Now what's weird is going to a new universe and getting a crush on some other-world creature. THAT is weird.

I think he did okay. Sister of the boss or not, he was putting out the first tentative move on the nerdy hot chick.

id say definitely. the interactions there for no reason other than to establish the link, but still... Personally, i think he shouldve at least apologized. then if she said it was fine, said the line jokingly.

Well let us just toss him onto the moon for having an easy-going persnality, that should knock some sense into him!

 

Seriously though, if Flash had bumped into Luna or Celestia he would be stammering and praying that he would be spared from banishment but to him, Twilight was not that scary so he didn't get all 'Iamsosorrypleasedonotbanishme'.

People hate the human Flash, not the pony. The humans and ponies are not the same no matter what anyone says. Human Applejack is a jerk who acts like everyone else is at fault when she is part of the problem. Pony Applejack will admit to her mistakes. (That's just an example.) So while pony Flash gets development, human flash will still be seen as the two dimensional character put there so Twilight can have a romantic interest.

True, Twilight isn't nearly as intimidating as Celestia or Luna, but like i said, Shining Armor, Twilight's older brother and one of her best friends, is Flash's boss. He could have at least apologized.

Just to say, I just watched Equestria Girls. I skipped it before is why I asked :3 The episode wasn't too bad, and Flash seemed to have done alright, but he is never mentioned again in the series... At least up to Season 5 Episode 1 & 2 as far as I know...
