There's a lot of engineering involved with her too. The way I make Magitek work is enchantments make it work, but otherwise the principles of science are mostly there. It's hard to explain. Basically, power source and operating system. More operating system than power source though. Like there's no electronic circuits or code, so one would have to be able to see mana and be a Uni to understand this. And of course it's all fantasy, so some arbitrary stuff too.

 

As for talking, how about after her match with Ice? I'm building toward that now.

Lektra and Wilhelm would probably to be contemporaries, each performing roughly the same tasks in wholly different ways. They may go through rival phases every once in a while, such as if there's a juicy contract up for offer, but I doubt it's going to be a constant state, or even something present for most of the time.

Pretty much. I've been working out this headcannon for a long time now. It's a purely magical implementation of modern technology. There's just no conventional electricity or code, but otherwise functions the same for the most part. This implementation explains how Equestria can have some modern technology, but not a whole lot. It's still a bit more technologically advanced, but not much.

You know, most of us agreed way back when that none of the Arena stuff would be canon to our OCs. However, I'm debating changing that. I've had a lot of character interactions I'd like to keep, like meeting Annete or Lektra. Opinions?

I don't know how I feel about that dude. Money tends to be in arbitrary amounts. Let's not do that or everyone will have to keep a running total of bits they own and there will be arguing who's richer. He sells spells any Uni can learn? That can get complicated, considering he would need to be able to teach the spell. Potions make sense though, cause zebras.
