Until that time she couldn't focus. But this has awakened her to a new side of her magic. She has magic beyond changeling magic. As a hybrid she never knew she had pony magic as well as changeling magic. She grew up only learning changeling magic. This is why her normal magic requires the control training. As for what i said about her shapeshifting. It has transferred into a unicorn/alicorn magical variant. She however, by some unknown force, can't assume non-alicorn forms now. It requires us to pass the baton in an organized way, though. So we aren't all tripping over each other's life stories.Sorry I was absent for that big crisis you just had, btw. Glad to see the character database is back to normal. This thread alone gave me about a hundred notification... Time to catch up on the RP. Lets just assume Amber was behind that barrier for the electric shock thing. Or she made her own. *shrugs* Aagh! There are so many posts that I wanted Amber to respond to, buts its too late. >.< ~~~~~ Okay, backstory time regarding my most recent post. Amber's entire character is pretty well centred around her need to find the truth. She's an archeologist/explorer, so her whole life is devoted to finding out the truth, be it the truth behind legend, history, magic--she has this intense need to know and to understand the world, mainly through history. She hates ignorance, she hates lies, she hates not being able to find stuff out. And this hatred breeds fire. It is as real as they want it to be Amber IS feeling strange, but she won't barge forward to move the plot along unless everypony else is done breakfast and happens to agree with her.
