The object was revealed to be the same strange pony from the night before. He got up and brushed himself off, seemingly not noticing his tail was on fire. "okay, so, mule empire, NOT friendly." Alpha yelled, "They're that close! we don't have enough men! we need to get everypony together." He piched up a stick and slammed it on a metal gong, a way to call out all of the fort's soldiers. He walked around the campus, looking at the various ponies who were exiting the tents. "You definetly don't have enough ponies, and you don't have a chance unless you upgrade your equipment." That said, he turned around, a stern look on his face. "Listen. I'm an... inventor. Yes, that sounds plausible. I can help you survive this attack but on one condition: No killing. Understood?" "We need sand, steel, a pot, water, some wires, a bunch of magnets, aaand muffins. I get hungry when I work." He stopped right in front of a pole that stood in the middle of the camp. Secretly Scopes was very exited that there were a pony that seemed to have a sense of direction, the lack of structure in the Equestrian Military is just appalling. Even so he couldn't shake the feeling that something odd was afoot. How could I not know this pony Scopes thought I've been to every single scientific convention since I've lived in Equestria and I have never heard of this pony before, and suddenly he just appears and says he has the answer to the war. Nevertheless the pony army did need ungraded equipment and moon dust is very hard to come by right now. They needed all the help they can get. I'll cooperate for now thought Scopes. "Well, if you want, I could get you some cupcakes. In my opinion only the lowliest of the low get muffins and everypony at the Canterlot Great Minds Associations are all united in that cupcakes are the way to go."
