https site wide test

Observant ponies may have noticed that the site has switched over to the https protocol recently. This is currently just a test to gauge its impact on both the business and operations ends of the site. In the interim it will also provide additional security (yay there). There have been small issues reported by members and we have been addressing them as they have arisen. One that has not be corrected yet is the index. By default the index will still land on the http:// site and when there you will have a much slower response time when accessing your notifications.

 

Also, should you notice any new issues please open a new topic in the Site Questions and Technical Support forum and we will address as soon as we see it.

 

UPDATE:

 

The index will now automatically redirect to https. I will keep this announcement here in the meantime in case any related technical concerns arise.
