Nightmare Nights Dallas 2015 Announces Jenn Blake:

Those of you who know IDW comic artist Jenn “Baroness von” Blake know that she’s not just a ton of fun, she’s also very talented to boot. Lucky for us, she’ll be attending Nightmare Nights this fall in Dallas!

Nightmare Nights Dallas is proud to announce our second guest of honor, IDW comic artist Jenn Blake!

Born and raised in California, “Baroness von Blake” originally studied to become a successful fashion designer. She spent 12 years in the profession, but wanted to broaden her horizons and take her art in a new direction, so she started to work on comic/graphic novel characters and added in a new love of hers: “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”. Shortly after she began her work with ponies, Jenn was approached by IDW Limited. Their special release, “The Return of Queen Chrysalis”, was in the works, and they were seeking special artists to create original, hand-drawn sketch cards to be released with the books. Jenn was one of a select few artists chosen for the task.

This special project rocketed Jenn’s career in the world of art and ponies forward, leading to this summer’s “My Little Pony: Friends Forever #16” and a special subscription cover for Four Color Grails.  She has done signings at many Free Comic Book Day events and various comic book stores, been a part of several WizardWorld Comic Con shows, and been a featured guest at several conventions.  Jenn has also been involved in collaboration work with the online comic “Albert the Alien” and is featured as a guest artist in the newly released book.  

We look forward to hosting Jenn this fall in Dallas!
