I have donated $90.00 total towards this project. For those of you who do not know, the Planetary Society is the worlds largest and leading non government space exploration and research organization. The CEO is bill nye and has done a lot of good work. The light sail was an idea that Carl Sagan promoted and now we are finally ready to get it going. Because its non government, they are attempting to get crowd funding to get the project off the ground.
