Equinox sat down in a chair within the relatively empty pub 'The Silver Horseshoe'. She started flitting through her 'guild members wanted' pages. She had put up the flyers a week ago to look for members to add to her guild, which as of the moment was unnamed. She wasn't sure if anyone had seen them and wanted to come here to work out the details, but just in case, she'd stay here. A few NPC's were cleaning the bar and one or two players were chatting it up with a can of apple cider.

 

She took out her paperwork and her lucky golden coin, which had stayed on her when she hopped into this hellish RPG. Equinox started to look over her completely, not unfinished, 100% done paperwork that was due the next day. In order to distract herself from the work that was very much done and wasn't unfinished due to her getting hooked on a cool board game, she started to play with her coin and take sips of the apple cider that was in her inventory.

 

"C'mon!" Equinox grumbled. "Somepony must want to form a guild... I'm not the only one, right? ...right?"

Red wandered into the pub and approached the bar. "A room, please." She said, quietly. "And also, a glass of water. If, ah, you have that." She sat at an empty table, glancing guardedly at Equinox almost suspiciously while drinking her newly procured glass of water.

Lunara walks into the pub. Her cloak covering her wings. Her horn is lightly glowing, holding a piece of paper in its soft sky blue glow. She walks over to Equinox and asks, "Where can I find...Equinox? This flyer says she is looking for players to form a guild."

Equinox perked up and looked at the mare that just walked in. "Heyo! Er... are you here for the guild? Because if you are, i'm totally still accepting!" Equinox played around with her coin for a bit, smiling. "Yep. So... what's your name? I think you got mine but I don't have yours."

Equinox turned her head to the pegacorn that just walked in and smiled sheepishly. Another player? Honestly, she only expected zero or one. "Oh, hi. You too? I'm Equinox, if you're here for the guild we... I'd... we... whatever, we'd love to have you! What's your name?"

Red looked slightly uncomfortable for a moment, but approached. "Yes. I would like to join this guild. It's an interesting concept." She paused awkwardly. "I'm Little Red. You will... can... call me Red." She did not look directly at Equinox, instead examining the papers, coin, or floor.

"Well welcome to the club, Red!" Equinox chuckled. "I'm Equinox! ...but you knew that. Anyways, glad to have you with this growing guild. So... where're you from? What do you like?" Equinox blushed a bit from embarassment. "...am I being to pushy? You can always tell me if I am!"

Red glanced at her, then looked away. "No, you're fine. I just... am not a talker. It's pleasant to meet you. I suppose." I suppose? Why am I so awkward, anyway, she grumbled to herself. "Well, obviously, I'm from Equestria, like you are." She deadpanned. "More specifically, from a little rural town. It's such a small place you wouldn't have heard of it." She did not add anything else about herself, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

She says somewhat shyly, "Lun-Lunara.. Pleasure to meet you."

 

Lunara didn't think she would meet her new guild master this soon. She looks uncomfortable, as she shifts uneasily where she stands. Her cloak ruffles a little in the windless area. She looks back and then hides her mussel with her mane blushing.

Since getting stuck in the game, Rush had mostly been training against monsters pretty much nonstop- without any gyms here to pump iron, it was the best way he could find to work out anyway. It was on his way to get a meal in town that he'd seen the flyers about starting a guild. He had to admit he was getting a bit lonely by himself, and working together to find a way out made sense, so he decided to check it out. Walking into the pub, he a small group that he assumed to be the newly forming guild. He waved and trotted over, projecting an air of confidence and machismo.

"I think she is. I don't know if I can join yet either." Lunara remains hidden by her mane and points to Equinox.

 

She remains shy and looks to be trying to keep something under control. She sets the paper down and deactivated her horn's glow. She is now embarrassed and focus on keeping something from happening.

the door burst open, and caliber waltzed in. "hellllllllooo, everypony!!" he called out joyfully. he started ordering a ton of food from the waitress. he decided to sit down next to equinox. (fate.) "yo! whats up?" he asked, "i heard your starting a guild!" he grinned. "you need a sword beserker?"

Snowflake enters the pub... keeping his hat over his eyes.... err, eye.... he looks through the place and sees a few ponies having a conversation.... he keeps a close eye on the group.... he didn't want to get pick pocketed by more players Snowflake walks up to the bar... "you guys got any Applejack?"

"Oh, yep!" Equinox smiled. "I'm the guildmaster, I think. Name's Equinox! You can join our guild if you want, as I said to the others, we'd love to have you! Er... so, uh what's your name? It's honestly my go-to question when meeting someone new."

Equinox smiled at Lunara, pleasantly happy that she's apparently a nice person. "Oh, yeah, i'm still accepting. You can join, of course you can! We'd love to have a pegacorn in our ranks. I haven't seen many of them, to be honest." She grinned. "So... what's your name? I gotta get the name of my new guild member, you know!"

Equinox jerked up after talking to Lunara, a bit shocked that this guy just walked in and started ordering a ton of drinks. Where did this guy get this money? Was he an experienced solo player? Hopefully. "Er, uh, yeah, we'd like a barbarian swordsman. Really would! What's your name, big guy?"

Equi noticed a new stallion walking up to the bar in a hood. She wondered if he was here for the guild for a few seconds before telling herself she'd ask him later, she already had a handful of people that needed her help. It would be nice to have another tough guy in their ranks.

caliber puffed himself up. "caliber, the wanderer!" he said proudly. "you may-or-may-not have heard of me. im the guy who got that limited edition sword last Christmas, remember?" he grinned. "its pretty cool, it works with any class! fencer, ninja, warrior, beserker, any class can use it! and its got great damage!"

Having had finished his job for the day, Storm was having a face-splitting grin due to finally being able to play the new VRMMORPG that he had just bought today. He returned home and booted up the game to start to play. After a while, he decided to take a break until he noticed something: He couldn't log out.

Storm walked into a pub called 'The Silver Horseshoe' after having gotten a flyer about recruiting new members for a guild. A sheath for his katana was worn on his right side, convenient for him when he needed to take out his katana quickly and fight. Two saddlebags was on his sides as well, holding his items and they were securely strapped to his body so that they won't fall off when he moved quickly.

"Are you Equinox?" Storm asked, taking the recruitment flyer out of one of his saddlebags and showed it to her. "I want to join your guild." Edited May 16, 2015 by Arcing Storm

after receiving his Applejack Snowflake pays after sipping his Applejack Snowflake catches ear of Caliber talking about a limited edition sword.... Snowflake puts his Applejack in his inventory and walks over to the group "limited edition sword you say?..." Snowflake takes in the confused looks "oh how rude of me.... allow me to introduce myself I'm Snowflake Frostflame and I'm a Mage..."

Red saw Caliber and gave a small smile. She thought about saying hello, but decided against it. She didn't want to say too much. She didn't want the other ponies getting the idea that she wasn't extremely quiet, after all. She would have to say hi to Caliber in private later.

She looked at Equinox. "That's it?" She asked. "No... test?" She wasn't sure whether she was disappointed or not.

caliber grinned at snowflake. "yup!" he made the sword materialize, and he set it on the table. "just take a look! the only class it doesn't work with is archer! you can even be a hammer user with it!" caliber opened up the blade customization screen, where a little dial could be seen. "you turn the thingy here...and it changes weapon class." he currently had it set to broadsword.

 

caliber had been stuck in this game since it came out. he didnt know where he was in the real world, but he didnt care. well, aside from the fact he'll have a ton of training to do when he got out. he was just happy he managed to find a cloak that looked identical to his real life cloak,(+2 evasion. not that it matters.) and his sword was spot-on!

"nice man I came close to a limited edition staff to complete my gear... but the server crashed and they removed the event the next day" Snowflake turns to Equinox "so your looking for people to join your... guild.... I can be of some assistance.... I might as well.... its better than hanging out with the NPC all day.... doing their daily quests"

Red smiled slightly at Caliber's antics, and mused at the others. Definitely a weird bunch, she thought. I guess... I'll fit right in. They all seem to have incredible talents, though. But... I think I'll be able to contribute something. She glanced at Snowflake. He seemed nice enough. She liked nice ponies. Sometimes she felt she didn't come across enough of those anymore.

Lunara asks, "I don't know what this Pegacorn stuff your talking about is. I don't have wings."

 

She shifts uneasily at the mention of Pegacorn. It is known that a few players have been flying solo for a while now. There was rumors of a filly who can wield two blades. She has shown some of the most improvement going towards the end goal of the game. Others say she is only a crafter and not even worthy of being on the front lines.

 

"My name is Lunara. If yall can earn my friendship, then I may tell you my nickname. My friends thought it would be funny to call me by this name. I actually liked the name. Before this game actually trapped us, I used that nickname as my character name. But I thought to not to this time around. If yall ever need any crafting or maitnence done, let me know. Many say I am just a crafter with no battle experience, but they can't be more wrong on that if they tried. Now before yall start going all beater on me, I was a beta tester. I also helped to make the starting reference guides that are given away to those who need them. I even work part time making and updating a crafter's manual. So if yall need any crafting advise just ask."

Red watched Lunara talking to Equinox, dying to know what it was about. Her parents said often that her curiosity was her fatal flaw. It probably was, actually. It took a bit of willpower to turn away. She ended up ordering a mug of cider, more out of something to do than anything else.

Lunara says, "I am from Ponyville. I usually join a game through the servers in Cloudsdayle or Canterlot. I was connecting to this game through a dual connection from both cities' servers when this happened. It always made for best connections to games."

 

She waits to let her information sink in. As she does so, she then opens her pm window to look and see if she has any new crafting requests.

 

She then asks, "Where are yall from originally?"

"Wait, you're not a pegacorn? Dang, I could've sworn I saw wings... gah, sorry." Equinox shrugged. She was probably a pegacorn since she denied it so quickly. "Nice to meet you, Lunara! You're a crafter, eh? I'm a thief-y like gal, came from Manehatten but wandered around before getting stuck here. I really thought this game was going to be a hit too... but no, it's a death trap! My luck is terrible."

A thief, a mage, a weird pony with a cloak that's probably hiding something... and Caliber. This is shaping up to be real bizarre, Red thought. Everypony seemed to have something interesting to hide. Well, except her. "I'm from a rural area, smaller than Ponyville." Red said in answer to Lunara. "My name is Red. Pleasure to meet you. I had recently gone back to my parents for the first time in several years, and they wanted me to take life a little easier, make some friends. They suggested this game because it had my passion-- hitting things, basically-- in a form that could have me be more social with others. Then this happened..." Red shrugged. "But I am not too upset about it. An adventure is an adventure, in Equestria or in a video game. But I feel bad for my parents, because no doubt they have to support me now, and they don't have the money to spare to a comatose pony." She answered.
