It could be a reference to The Flower Children of the hippy days, but of course drugs shouldn't be included in the show. Also, surfers kind of have that same tone of voice; "righteous!". XD Nothing that has to do with anything else, and that's why Fluttershy comes along with her so well, they've got love for nature and to be nice to others in common. It's just that Fluttershy is another kind of environmentalist than Treehugger, but they're still the same. Communists, totally. XD We've got Starlight Glimmer, right? (Even though she's not really a communist, close enough though...) I grew up around people like her, and lots of them are just that way because that's just how they behave, they just happen to smoke pot, which causes them to forget, and be even more mellow, but it's not the entire reason they behave the way they do. Course I really sympathize with Discord being annoyed. But she's a chill pony and is open minded to others Edit: Also i used to be like her, although i didn't think of it as hippy stuff. It was more books honestly, in general i am against drugs. But it was more mental psyche that i got from books and really really relaxing music, so my brain was all peaceful and always mumbled "To be in a peaceful place". Two years ago i think.
