I feel like i'm posting a lot of topics, but thats what its here for right? ::

 

So i just figured out (kinda sad really) that some (all?) of the voice actors dont sing for their characters. So to avoid me doing my own research because someone already has these answers im sure, what are the VA's?

 

Talking VA

 

Twilight: Tara Strong

Applejack:Ashleigh Ball

Rainbow:Ashleigh Ball

Rarity:

Fluttershy:

Pinkie:

 

Singing VA

 

Twilight:Rebecca Shoichet, who also is the talking VA of Sunset Shimmer

Fluttershy:

Pinkie:

 

Would anyone care to complete this?

 

Bonus Question: So is Sunset Shimmers Singing VA the same person as her talking VA?

I'm 99% sure that Andrea Libman (Fluttershy and Pinkie) sings all her characters.  Don't quote me on it, though.

I don't know, Rebecca is a better singer, but Tara can sing and she does it pretty well. The only example i can think of right now is "Some black chick's tongue" from Drawn Together

It's because she's in LA and most of the principal VA recording happens in Vancouver and it's much easier for the songs if the VA is there instead of recording elsewhere

Andrea Libman did a couple of Pinkie's short gag songs like Evil Enchantress and I'm pretty sure she did the Goof Off, but Shannon Chan-Kent did everything else.
