The ending of DragonBall Gt I remember fondly as a kid and hated the fact that DBZ was ending for a time. That ending was among my favorites for a very long time. DBZ is was just one of my all time favorite shows as a kid.

GT was love-it-or-hate-it, but the ending had some true feels.

 

Especially since Nuova Shenron never got to have his fair fight with Goku.

I agree with you whole-heartedly on this. I for one enjoyed GT greatly and that part when Goku says "till we meet again" that last episode was just amazing.

Xmen Evolution: The showdown with Apocalypse was epic, the idea of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the Xmen having to team up to take him down awesome and well executed.

 

Superman the Animated Series: Darkseid vs Superman, an epic showdown and Superman getting the shock of his life by finding out that his people actually like him.

 

Last Airbender: epic showdowns, feels and a happy ending.

Probably the ending to Avatar The Last Airbender

Hands down would have to go with Avatar the Las Airbender.

Sozin's Comet (Parts 1-4/ 2 hour tv movie) was absolutely amazing and had everything you could possibly want from a series finale.

High emotional stakes, beautiful animation, great closure on all of your favorite characters, fantastic action and fight sequences, and a general sense of strength and epicness that not a lot of shows are able to put out.

There is virtually nothing in it that I wish went in another direction as it is perfect just the way it is and was the best way possible to end one amazing series.  It left behind a great legacy and is one of the most satisfying conclusions to a tv series that I can think of.

Technically, Return Of The Jedi for the Original Trilogy:

 

The Emperor's literal downfall, the Death Star II getting Billy-Dee-Williams'd, the Super Star Destroyer getting kamikaze'd, Han X Leia becoming official, Luke graduating his do-it-yourself Jedi training, and Vader changing his ways and getting to go to Force Heaven with Obi-Wan and Yoda. Not to mention the Special Edition showing The Galaxy's various afterparties.

Maybe Chiaoling Showdown, after so much struggle for Omi for his great messup, and seeing very dark moments and making a 4 vs 4 duel to end with the whole cast facing all the villains in an open ending? SWEET
