spoiler Rainbow Dash's more sensitive side

In Cutie Mark Chronicles we saw Rainbow Dash when she was a filly swoop in to defend Fluttershy from bullying. We've now seen in the most recent episode that she did the same with Gilda. So as a filly (or even as an adult) RD seems to be a defender of the weak. I think this is an interesting side to her character, contradictory to the selfish jerk some percieve her as.

I would like to see an episode where they highlight this part of her. Another episode we could have is where Rarity gets her to tag along on some high-profile event and she has to dress-up and act all formal and mare-like. I know we've seen her not really minding having to dress up but still.

Need more episodes like the RD/Tank episode.

I don't think Rainbow Dash's element is loyalty... it's more like chivalry.

I some ways I think your right!

Loyalty is a hard one.. sometimes she can't be loyal to more then one person (I mean she Knew gilda before Pinkie and she basically gave up on Gilda in a day rather then trying to help her become friends with Pinkie (until the most recent episode).

Her element is kinda hard to define, its more like the element of "doing the right thing".

I don't find her that different now from when she was a filly (Dragonshy aside).

But yeah, I'd also want to see that more often.

No, her element is very clearly loyalty, that's fact.

But the Mane 6 aren't limited to displaying JUST their element, as they display many other good qualities on top of it. They have the element that they represent, and that element is very prominent in them, but they're very good and friendly ponies in general. Dash is very much the element of loyalty, and would always be there for you, but she is also very kind and caring to her friends and loved ones, among many other nice things I could say about her.

...Anyway, she's awesome, friendly, fun-loving, energetic (but is very much capable of relaxing or enjoying slower paced things), and also has a sweet, sensitive side. I'd go into more detail into discussing that stuff, but I just got up, so maybe some other time. She also really doesn't like bullying, and will come to the defense of people being victimized by it.
