What are some villains outside of FIM you think if the Mane 6 took on would lose because friendship is magic wouldn't work?

The season 4 finale shows that Twilight has a lot of raw power to fall back on in case friendship fails.

The premise is faulty in that magic is one of the physical realities of the pony world. Friendship is a powerful force of physics there.

in that dimension it is as difficult to defeat friendship as it is to defy gravity in ours.

Serious Villains in general that are willing to kill would be out of the range of the Mane 6.

Twilight Sparkle has lost to hostage taking tactic.

KRATOS GOD OF WAR. THAT PUSSY WOULD LOSE TO FRIENDSHIP HAHAHAHA.

sorry, I lost my mind a bit.

Aww beat me to it.

Another villain I'd like to add is.....wait for it.....THE JOKER! How so? He does everything for the lolz anyway and he is mad. I'd like to see the Elements of Harmony try and beat him and then fail.

Lol that'd be a good fight. I think he'd SCARE the ponies into giving up.

The Elements of Harmony are a physical force as well as emotional, It's not so much "who can resist being friends" as it is "who can take a rainbow cannon and be left standing?" Which means we're probably starting with DBZ villains and working up...

There would need to be all Mane 6 and they would all have to be psychologically in the right mindset to perform a rainbow blast.

If Frieza wiped out an entire pony village. The Mane 6 could by hindered by fear of Frieza's power or too much hatred towards his unspeakable malicious acts, either which would throw off their mindset.

I think Cthulhu would be hard to beat.  A giant, chaotic evil, human, dragon, octopus monster from space with godlike abilities.

Only reason I'm familiar with this guy is from my Dungeons and Dragons campaigns.  In which he could manipulate everyone's sanity and control their dreams, not to mention his brute strength and massive size.

A fight between him and Luna would be EPIC imo  :comeatus:

Here's a wiki page for those of you who aren't familiar: http://lovecraft.wikia.com/wiki/Cthulhu

From video games (that I've played):

The Reapers (ME3)

Giygas (Earthbound)

From shows/movies (that I've watched):

Xenomorphs

Super Buu

The Borg

And honestly, I'd wager that Azathoth (an all-consuming nuclear chaos that dances at the heart of existence) would be more than strong enough to withstand the magic of friendship.

The way your OP is posted, you made it sound like you were talking about who could take an Elements of Harmony/ Rainbow Power attack, in which case, my answer above wouldn't change. If we're talking about a fight, we could probably get up to fighting Bleach before they could no longer win. If we're talking about simple befriending, we're probably not going to get very far. Probably ending at morally gray heroes like the hulk and wolverine.

So:

Boros from One punch Man

All the DBZ ennemies, beggining from Nappa

Aizen (Full power Twilight with 4 princesses might be more powerful, but he can beat because of technique, speed, etc..)

Yhwach (Full power Twilight with 4 princesses might be more powerful, but he can beat because of technique, speed, etc..)

Uchiha Madara(Full power Twilight with 4 princesses might be more powerful, but he can beat because of technique, speed, etc..)

Uchiha Itachi, even if he's not really a vilain (Full power Twilight with 4 princesses might be more powerful, but he can beat because of technique, speed, etc..)

Il Ilah, from Magi

Thanos

Darkseid...

And MANY others, with Friendship or not (with that, meaning raw power)

I would wager Skynet, the Borg, Agent Smith, or the Daleks would be a good match against the magic of friendship.

Black Adam: Power of 6 Egyptian gods, it took the entire Justice League along with the Doom Patrol and Young Justice combined to take him down during his last major rampage.

Superman Prime: It took everyone that I described for Black Adam including Black Adam himself even to restrain him during the events of Infinte Crisis. He is an evil albeit younger version of Superman from an alternate universe that is considerably more powerful, he is just as powerful as the Silver Age Superman who was able to blow out stars as easily as you or I could blow out a birthday candle, move planets like it was nothing and can move so fast he turn back time.

Darth Bane: As the Sith chosen one and founder of the Rule of Two he is one of the most powerful Sith who ever lived. The same can also apply for quite a few of the ancient Sith especially Darth Andendu and Naga Sadow.

I would say the necromorphs from dead space would completely slaughter the main six a simple brute or if they really wanted to use overkill they would kill the main six with a brethren moon which as a giant plant which is alive and could destroy their planet within a few days man equestria would be screwed if necromorphs invaded

Well Discord actually came very close to beating them by separating them and destroying their friendship. So any villain that possesses emotion altering powers along with physical might could theoretically beat them.

One big specific example? The Reapers. They are physically almost indestructible and their greatest weapon, indoctrination, could be used as basically the Mane Six's kryptonite.

Nicol Bolas would be able to mind control any of the Mane 6, he has counter spells, and his touch can destroy their minds.

Phyrexians wouldn't have any problems.
