Even though there was a 20 year gap between his last appearance as Bond in Licence to Kill (1989), and his guest appearance as Rassilon in DW episode The End of Time, Part 1 (2009), I obviously recognized him through that voice. Not a celebrity? Timothy Dalton was freaking James Bond. No one who plays Bond is not awesome. His appearance on Doctor Who was just icing on the cake!
