What's your thinking voice?

OK, I know it's stupid, but I can't be the only one here XD

So, when you are deep in thought, do you have a specific voice that you think of. Like, instead of your normal voice, do you think using a different voice, if that makes sense?

For me, when I'm deep in thought, I find myself thinking with the voice of L from Death Note. They're is just something so sophisticated about his voice that it helps me formulate my thoughts better. Heck, I'm typing this with his voice in my head XD

That's certainly interesting. I don't know if my thinking voice has a specific sound or tone to it. :/ It's just, well. It's rather calm. I often monologue whatever I'm doing like its being written in a highly uninteresting book.

That's pretty cool and L is an awesome character in Death Note. I don't have a specific voice while thinking and sometime I speak out my thoughts to myself so I can remember what I'm thinking. Sometimes it's somewhat of a calculating type of voice where I'm trying to think of so many steps ahead in something that I freak out in a good way when I didn't think of the idea any sooner

Sometimes, my thinking voice is Mark Corrigans (aka David Mitchell's) from Peep Show

We have a very similar inner monologue to...

just kidding. I just hear my own voice I think

Well, whilst it can sometimes change depending on the context of the situation...

Normally my thinking voice sounds like a slightly younger, higher pitched/toned version of my own voice, except not really.  Lmao, it's hard to describe, for obvious reasons.

Now, when it doesn't sound like ^that^ ... It might sound like Ryan Seacrest or Mike Rowe, lmao.

It changes but lately it is a British accent (I love British accents), more specifically it kinda sounds like Yahtzee's voice from Zero Punctuation.

*Strong language warning*

That is an amazing inner-thought pondering voice.

it is me but he switches his accent around sometimes from my normal Southwestern American accent to a Southern American accent, German accent, Scottish accent, Russian accent, and Australian accent

It's basically my voice, nothing fancy. There are times where I do think in someone else's voice, but that's usually when I'm recalling something someone's said or trying to think of what someone would say about a certain thing or situation. Sometimes, it even happens when I proofread my posts. (Funnily enough, I'm doing it right now, heh.)

It depends.

Often it's my voice, sometimes it's the voice of other people I know, sometimes it's an imagined variant on someone's voice. Sometimes it's the voice I "assign" to different people I talk to online, like what I hear when I read their text. I don't know, it gets trippy.

Sometimes it's an extremely deep, demonic voice or a scream. This is always associated with extreme negativity.

Sometimes it's not even a voice at all, it's something else entirely: mental, nonverbal dialogue, purely through emotions and abstract thoughts. This can be neutral, and it has also been associated with extreme positivity.

Whatever form the voice takes is not always a conscious choice, sometimes it's a subconscious one.
