I live right by the freeway, so whenever my windows are open as they are right now, I can hear the sounds of the cars going by. They're far enough that it's not at all loud. It's actually rather soothing, somehow.

Though the trash truck comes by between 2 and 3, but I'm usually still up anyway so it doesn't wake me.
