well if the mirror works in reverse too so the humans transform into ponies I don't think its so weird, because they would still basically always be in same form, it's still bit weird though but not a big fan of the Flashlight anyway =)

Considering there are mules, it doesn't seem like donkeys and ponies have any problems mixing together. If they feel OK to interbreed with other equine species, I think that would lead them to be just a little more open-minded about inter-species relationships.

 

We don't know about pony-griffin relationships and we haven't seen any hybrids between them but maybe that's because ponies and griffins can't reproduce. Who knows. It's a mystery whether or not it's taboo for ponies and griffins to mix for whatever reason.

 

There's a little bit of evidence that ponies might be open to the idea but it's pretty much a mystery. All bets are off, in other words.

I think ponies and groffons can reproduce. The greek Mythology has hippogriffs, griffons and mares hybrids. The main difference between them and griffons, is that instead of lion part, they have horse part. It's pretty weird because griffons eat horses, but now that we are dealing with sentinent beings and we've seen them interact, it's far too possible for hippogriffs to exist in ML

Twilight Sparkle was changed into a teenage human being new to it, while hormones swim in her head. She also was dealing with major insecurity being on her own in an alien world without her resources, useless Equestria knowledge, no magic, and not so dependable HuMane 5 at times.

 

The attraction for being just a teenager dealing with horomones is one part while Flash helping her at the most vulnerable point got her to latch on to him.

I just realized something.

 

Sunset Shimmer is Flash Sentry's ex-girlfriend. Twilight isn't the first mare to fall for this human. Apparently he's got some sort of charm that works on ponies.

 

Also Sunset Shimmer must be a Reverse Brony because why would anypony tolerate high school? And doesn't she like her original pony form? And she doesn't have magic which could make it pretty frustrating. Maybe she likes humans.

I thought of this as well because it would be strange for a pony to suddenly find a member of a completely foreign, strange-looking species to be attractive--I mean we have fingers and toes, a really small "muzzle", and we're bipedal (and these were all things that alarmed Twilight too ). My explanation is that going through the mirror would also change Twilight's internal biology, including her neurochemistry and neurophysiology, so she would be human in every way save for her memories and lack of understanding of learned human behavior. Thus it would be completely natural to be attracted to the body and structure of a human being because she's biologically programmed to.

Also why Flash, he was not the first human Twilight had seen so there was no initial sense of unique appearance for Twilight to have perceived.

 

Twilight has interacted with males before like Big Mac and the Royal Guards without going gaga so why does Twilight blush upon seeing Flash immediately?
