Simple Fight Brawl Game!

Musical-Mettaur

Recommended Posts

Simple game! We keep it simple and fun, eh? Lets say each person has four people each. A place is picked by someone. Maybe a forest, desert, or river. I say an amount of "points" you get. A list of stuff to buy with those points to equip your guys. Like, a stick is one point, armor is two points, sand to throw in the enemies eyes is two points, stuff like that. And you get some amount of points. Point amounts, upgrades available, soldier amounts, and location variety increase each match by a little bit. All I need are a little curious people to start. I'll just leave this...and tell ya who wins. I'll even illustrate the best parts of the battle from my simulator.

*~NEW LOCATION!~*

Prairie

Posted Image

This is by far the easiest place for me to run on the program. Flat, simple, stretches in all directions. Tufts of wild grass here and there. But mostly, flat ground.

*~NEW TECH!~*

Stick-1 Point

It's a simple club. It can be used to hit people. Doubles attack power.

Horse-4 Points

A reliable mount! Takes half the damage coming toward a soldier. Has double the health of a soldier. So the horse usually outlasts it's rider, might be taken by a lucky soldier. Oh, and makes him double as fast.

Sling-2 Points

Throwing rocks. About as good as a club hit, but each pile you buy has only 15 shots.

Each team has four soldiers to start with...and...10 points. Just say what you want, oh, and tell me yer favorite color. It's for the illustrations. Really, no effort on your part! Just pick some stuff.

Well, that was a quick battle...they have great marksmanship..

The Light Gray Clan rode down the prairie, seeking to finally end their feud with the Purple Clan of the Plains. With the most Honored Warrior riding proud atop his Light Gray horse, and their pockets heavy with stones, they advanced upon the threadbare camp. One of them was unarmed, a holy man, to honor the dead after their assured victory.

The Purple Clan knew the treacherous Light Gray Clan would attack them, so they set up a defense. Scavenging the grassland, they managed to find two sticks, and a handful of rocks. Even the Chief's horse was borrowed for the skirmish. They hid low in the grass and waited.

The Light Gray Clan carried on, and upon arriving, saw no Purple Men...suddenly, without a sound, the Honored Warrior's horse fell, struck dead by a slung stone. An ambush! The stones flew in a fury of buzzing violence, the holy man cowering behind the Stone Bearers. The horses soon fell dead, and then the club-wielding defenders leaped from the obscuring grasses, smashing them upon the crowns of the assaulting Light Gray foes!

In the aftermath of the event, eight bodies lay upon the soft grass. The Light Gray Raiders were defeated, the life smote from their bodies. Both horses lay dead, noble creatures dragged into conflict. But the two club wielding Purple Defenders still stood strong and alive. They didn't run out of their weapon. They had a dependable club. The bodies were burnt as to tradition, so their spirits could arise to their place in the world. To become clouds, to grace the Grasslands with life-giving rain, to continue the cycle..

Victory to Purple Team!

Survivors-

Two Stick Wielding Purple Men.

Casualties-

One mounted Purple man.

One slinging Purple man.

One mounted, slinging Light Gray man.

Two slinging Light Gray men.

One unarmed Light Gray man.

One Light Gray horse.

One brown horse.

Congratulations! Anyone else wanna try? If two people that both won a round play together, they get more options! I think that's a good idea...yeah! Alright, whose up next? Same conditions as before. Same points, amount of guys, tech available, and location.

Had to run it a few times, visibility of the battle was a tad spotty. Oh, and I know I should use spoilers, but just don't read this paragraph if you want...next location for I-Era veterans is the Gladiator Colosseum! Equip your fighters, but it's usually not a group battle, usually one at a time mano es mano shindigs. The terrain is an enclosed area, most of the available perks available from before, except for the horses. BUT! Many dirty tricks will be available, like sand to throw in an enemies eyes! And simpler things, like real swords!

The two clans opposed each other not for territory or suspicions. It was ideology. The eight greatest fighters of both Orange and Red Tribes descended into the ceremonial battle pit. A crater made when a Great Angel fell from the heavens many years before and smote the land, the sacred metals of it's motionless form used to make many useful and needed items for the population of the Prairie. And as the wildlife of the Grasslands gathered around the still glowing hole,, they grew, expanded, became...GODS.

The four warriors of Red Tribe climbed down. The Bear Brothers drew their clubs, ready to defend their Grand Leader. The Marksman readied a stone in his sling..and the Great Warrior drew his own sling astride his steed. The Great Spider watched from above as his followers readied for battle.

The greatest men of Orange Tribe brandished their own arms. The two without horses hurried to keep up as the two riders kicked their steeds along. One of the riders drew his stick, rushing toward the Red warmongers. The other simply kept rushing along his horse. The other walker, the one with his splintered branch, stayed behind, until both sides reached the bottom of the pit. The Great Hog God watched from above, snuffling as he watched his defensive people stand up to protect their ways.

As soon as the two small groups were in range, the stones were flung! The Orange warrior who was unarmed fell without a cry from his steed, and the violence was quick but brutal. The Orange Tribe were defensive, farmers, those with good intentions. The Bear Brothers used their superior strength to bash the Orange Tribe warriors into a paste. As they obliterated the stick-bearing Orange man, the larger of the twins, Brap, tossed it over his head, preferring his own heavy tree limb. The Great Warrior of the Red Tribe caught the stick, after flinging his last stones at the last walking Orange man. In the conflict, the Marksman lay dead, peppered with pebbles. The only Orange Warrior left was the one with a stick..as he rushed the Great Warrior for a noble duel, one on one...the other Bear Brother, Prap, took out his horse at the knees. He was soon beaten to death by all three Red Warriors.

All six bodies, that including the horse, were taken as sacrifice to the Great Spider God. Red Tribe won..and for the sacrifice, will have good harvests!

Victory to Red Team!

Survivors:

Red Man on Horse with Stick and Sling.

Two Red Men with sticks.

Horse.

Casualties:

Red Man with Sling.

Orange Man on horse with stick.

Orange Man on horse.

Orange Man with stick.

Alright! Lets have another battle! Oh, I got to post the SECOND ERA.

GLADIATOR ARENA!

Posted Image

Welcome to the Colosseum! Here there be Gladiators! Dirty tricks, cruelly designed weaponry, and exciting variants of the environment! It is a circular, enclosed environment, 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 battles occuring, with neutral NPC's cheering from the stands. The ground is sand, and there are four pillars. Anything can happen, the arena can fill with water, or lava!

TECHNOLOGY! FOR SCIENCE!

Stick-1 Point

It's a simple club. It can be used to hit people. Doubles attack power.

Sling-2 Points

Throwing rocks. About as good as a club hit, but each pile you buy has only 15 shots.

Leather Armor- 4 Points

Leather Armor for your Gladiator! Reduces enemy hits into half their impact. Will break after enough hits. If he dies, usually his armor can be scavenged.

Trident Upgrade- 3 Points

What can make your long stick even deadlier? Adding three prongs of steel to the end of it! This upgrade can be used on all of your Gladiator's sticks. Get the point?

Blinding Sand- 4 Points

Sand scooped up from the floor. Can be used to blind an enemy gladiator! Up to two times it can be used. While an enemy is blind, he is defenseless and can't fight back! That's what I call DIRTY fighting!

Immobilizing Net- 4 Points

A Net to throw over an enemy! Your Gladiator can use his net only twice. After two times, the struggles reduce it to a mess of strings and metal bits. After a bit of time they can break free, but until then are open to assault.. Like stabbing fish in a...net..

Gladiator amount is five men! You get 20 points to use! You know, I'm not sure about Era points...some people will be missing out. Forget the Era points! But remember, some older technology will be forgotten in New Eras! However, you can request a battle with a specific player in an older Era. So, who wants to play Gladiator?

First Part!

The Colosseum, the grand arena of combat, of death and honor, but mostly entertainment. And today, ten slaves were to fight for their freedom! Five of the Red Lands, and Five of the White Lands.

The Red Gladiator strode out into the arena, shielding his eyes against the bright glare of the sun while the crowd cheered, the Emperor sitting passively among his Advisers and Entertainers. The Red Gladiator, giving his sling momentum, peered at the other end of the arena, where the White Gladiator was swinging his net. What followed next was as such: The White Gladiator charged toward the Red Gladiator at the other end of the arena, who quickly started laying out his pebbles. Hit! Hit! Hit! Miss! Hit! Miss! Hit! Seven projectiles were fired, and when the fifth hit home, it hit the White Warrior straight between the eyes. The Red Warrior lifted up the unused net from his fallen foe, and gave a cry of victory, heading then for the Victory Room.

First Fight Results-

Red Won, Now has 7 Sling uses and 2 Net uses.

White lost, lost his net.

This is round two!

The two gates stood strong as the Orator drew on his long speech. The Red Gladiator was a strong, muscle-bond man, nearing beast. His armor seemed to not weigh him down in the least, his trident as light in his iron grip as a fork in the hand of a child. The White Gladiator was a wiry man, but not weak. He seemed to be a weak old man, but in his eyes one could see. He was not about to bend down and take his fate lightly. As he gripped the Galdius in his right hand, he bent down and scooped up some sand from the floor.

The gates were dropped! The two charged forward, the Red Gladiator in a blind fury, and the White Gladiator in a purposed manner, keeping his energy. As the Brute was about to smash the White Gladiator, he got a nasty surprise. The sand was thrown into his eyes, with bits of sharpened rock in the mix! He roared in fury, clawing at his face, while the thin White slashed at him ceaselessly. When the Red Gladiator finally had his vision restored, and was about to strike once more, he got another handful of sand in the face! He roared loud enough to wake the beasts below, and with that, the White Gladiator gave a final strike. His Gladius embedded through the lungs of his foe, he had won. Retrieving his sword, he did not bother for the armor of the slain giant. Maybe if he needed a house, he'd take it. But no...

White Gladiator won!

Survived: White Man, Sand and Trident.

Deceased: Red Man, Armor and Trident.

This is Round Three! I hope others are following this, maybe?

The White Gladiator scooped up the sand from the floor, weighing it in his hand. He was not much of a ranged man, and weapons simply felt clumsy to him. He needed to get up close, and be able to use his hands fully. His opponent on the other hand..the Red Gladiator started to swing his sling around, the cruel little sphere of metal resting snugly inside the strip of cloth. The score was 1 to 1, the team that won, would go free. He wanted to see his son once more, at least once more.

As the gates dropped, the Marksman carefully swung his sling, walking forward slowly, as the Trickster sprinted with sand clutched in his grip. The Marksman started letting loose his charges! Hit! Hit! Miss! Hit! Hit! Miss!

The horrible projectiles burrowed through the paltry cloth garments of the Trickster, drawing blood. But no vitals had been hit..not yet. He was finally in range! He threw the cruel blinding substance into the Marksman's eyes, who still tried to fire his charges as he backed backwards clumsily. Miss! Miss! Miss! His mind was starting to fail, the bludgeoning reducing the quiet Marksman of Red Team into a stumbling mess. He blindly reached in front of him to a vague shape, seeking assistance, and his grasping hand was grabbed back...then he found his hand crushed. As he gurgled in pain, the White Gladiator took his elbow and drove it down over the out-stretched arm, breaking it. He then kicked his left leg in, and ended his life with a furious, and completely not needed, punch to the side of his head. His brain shook around inside like a watermelon inside a bowling ball case.

The remains of the battle were a blood-covered pile of broken limbs, and a blood covered victorious White Gladiator, retrieving the sling of his fallen opponent. As he went to the Victory room to wash up and restock the ammo, and as the audience went into a frothing frenzy at the fantastic display he had just put on, he thought to himself...I think I'll train with this.

White Gladiator Won! 2-1

Survivors: White Man, Sand, Got Sling!

Deceased: Red Man, Lost Sling!

Time for Round Four!

White Team had two kills against Red Team's first victory. The White Marksman, a Barbarian from the looks of it, had what seemed to be a native bow on him. He hooked the bow together, notching an arrow with a nasty head, designed to tear around the tendons when it entered. The Red Gladiator, a Retiarius it appeared, hefted his net and readied his three-pronged gig, ready to catch himself a barbarian. His expression could not be caught, hidden by his fish-shaped helmet.

The gates dropped, and the White Mongol fired his arrow! The Red Retiarius dodged it deftly, heading straight for his catch. The Mongol fired again, and missed! The Mongol cursed the lack of his steed, and fired a third time. It struck! But the Retiarius was a GLADIATOR, trained to ignore the pain, to push through and kill! Still, the arrow churned up his unprotected arm as he leaped for the Mongol. As he was cut off concentration, the arrow went wild, and instead of hitting the Red Gladiator's unprotected chest, bounced off his helmet. The Mongol usually had good light...but it seemed the Retiarius was dazed.

As he straightened his focus, the Mongol fired twice more, but both rounds missed their intended target. The Retiarius found the Mongol was out of ammunition, and with that he rushed toward the pesky foe, tossing his fishing net over the White Team Mongol. The barbarian struggled in the net, trying to hit back as the Fisherman Gladiator gigged him ONCE! TWICE! And with a third stab with the trident, the Mongol was pinned to the floor, his heart pierced. He gurgled up his blood, and expired. The Retiarius roared his victory to the crowd, and as the dead foreigner was dragged through the Gates of Death, he marched victoriously through the Gates of Life.

Red Team Won!

Survivors: Red Man, With Trident and Net.

Deceased: White Man, With Sling.

Score is now 2-2.
