movies/tv Zootopia

I feel like this movie will tie in the life of humans with this city of animals. Personalities and backgrounds clash, the differences creates natural enemies but there will be a silver lining there somewhere.

I hear "Fursona" echoing somewhere XD

This is definitely one of the best Disney films I have seen. The animation, the character design, the morals within the film, there was a lot to love. Even the humor was good and the violence, was actually a bit impactful and not overbearing.

It feels like Pixar and the inhouse Disney studio are trying to outdo each other. XD

I realized how I was feeling towards this movie. It's hard to explain, unless you are a full on book reader. Anyway, it's the first movie that I ever felt connected to the characters in. Every other movie I just watched and was entertained. Watching this, I felt connected to the characters, like I was experiencing the action with them. Book readers should understand that that's how you feel when reading. I love reading, it's my favorite thing in the whole world. After I finished Zootopia, I felt like I had just finished a good book in a series that was still being written. I wanted more, I wanted to be with these characters longer. But it's over, and anyone that's read a good book will know the feeling of finishing it.

Saw it yesterday with my sister. My expectation was rather high for this movie, and I got what I expected. I found some of the humor to be spot on, to be specific, the sloths at the DMV, and other laughs, like The Godfather, Disney spoofing their own movies, and that naturalist club. The movie had it's happy moments, sad moments, funny moments, and cute moments, and I would definitely recommend it.

I seriously was not expecting the little sheep mayor assistant to be the one that was bad.

It was an awesome movie! My favorite character was definitely the bunny cop. :3

Dat Carrot Pen Doh, so suspicious. xD

I also get the subliminal message that the movie was trying to put out. No matter who you are, you can do anything. But there are consequences too...

Ha... Ha... Ha... xD

Very well done film. It explored concepts that hadn't yet made it to the big screen and I enjoyed the world building and character development that was put into this 'kids movie'. I'm glad I went to see it instead of 'London is Falling'.

I loved loved loved it, can't wait for it to come out on blu-ray and/or DVD, my sister which is in France already bought me a Nick plush hehe

The movie made me so emotional though, and gosh the feels during the Scout Nick scene, I couldn't handle them at all ;_;

I think it's pretty obvious with the way the film went what the sequel will be about:

Nick and Judy having romantic tension.

Saw it a few days ago with my wife and kids, along with a family friend who was kind enough to purchase the $50+ tickets.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and it even caught me off guard at a few key moments - not something easy to do.

I saw (and called) the 'red herring', but I had no clue about the 'fight to the death' towards the end; that got me GOOD.

Besides, Tommy Chong and Shakira in the same flick; that'll put an interesting twist into '7 Steps To Kevin Bacon'.

I'll be honest, it worries me that this movie is a thing...

Why exactly? There's no bad messages sent from the movie. Anyway, I just saw it again, and it's just as amazing the second time! Thai time I knew what to look for, and I noticed the Breaking Bad, Godfather, and the numerous Frozen references I missed before. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was much more intense than I've seen Disney go in a while and wasn't afraid to tackle real issues that are present today. It seemed real enough to immerse me into the world, but still fun enough to remind me that I'm also supposed to be having fun while watching.

I liked the movie, I thought it was good. The animation was incredibly pretty and I really liked the characters, especially Judy, and I liked its morals but the second half of the film, without going into spoilers, ended up having elements that were either not explained enough or poorly implemented. This thread from gamefaqs sums up my issues: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/203-cartoons-and-animation/73464024 If you're going to be 99% on Rotten Tomatoes I expect it to be nearly perfect but it's far from it.

Still I love its world and its characters and I would love to see more of it. I'd like to see an animated series or a sequel or even an entire disney park attraction.

Edit: Oh hey, 100 posts.
