any Fall of Equestria stories i see on FimFiction. how the hell do caribou conquer a land full of unicorns, pegasi, and dragons. oh and don't forget the four gods that rule it. It seems like an excuse to see all the cannon characters get raped. I also have never read any of them but from the description on them i can tell they are just clop stories.

I'm currently writing a fanfic with Trixie and Twist as our stars fighting against the changelings who gained a lot of power after leaving the queen, and managed to put Equestria in ruins (by not killing ponies :3 ). Its not one of those mega clop stories. E for everyone.

Not that kind of fall of Equestria. Fall of Equestria is apparently a series where male Caribou that conquer and enslave everypony in Equestria and enslaving the pony race and turning them into slaves.

But the worst fanfic I've come across was not one that was poorly written- but came so far out of left field I actually couldn't finish it.

 

To put it in perspective- I've read all the crazy stuff from SAM, cheerliee's garden, cupcakes, rainbow factory (the big 4) and more without batting an eye. I do recall thinking 'that would have hurt' during a scene in cupcakes- but that's pretty much it.

 

I'm totally not ashamed to admit it got me. Maybe one day I'll finish it.

I acyually "interviewed" (i.e. argued) with the author once. Told him he was a cynical sociopath (because how can you hate something like friendship and NOT be called normal) with no life.

Here are some really big no's for fan fics to me:

• The "everypony dies" fan fics.
• Fan fics made to ship a favorite pony with your OC. They're obvious, doesn't take a lot of analyzing.
• Rip offs. Your fan fic isn't original when it replaces Trixie with a villain you made, but the plot is the same as the FIM episode.
• Fan fics just dedicated to porn, clop, sex, raping, you get the idea

That's taking it to far. It's okay to not like a story but being a dick to the author isn't.

Fall of Equestria gets a really bad rep it doesn't deserve, it honestly isn't that bad. It's not that unbelieveable that caribou could conquer Equestria, Equestria was unprepared for war and the caribou had Discord helping them. Depending on your head canon, Discord could very reasonably have God level powers, so that would help the caribou a good deal.

Maybe you hate it because it's about how women deserve to be sex slaves. Except, it's not about that, the caribou are the villains and the stories make it very clear what the caribou are doing is wrong. 

 

It's not a great series, and certainly not one you should read if it's not your fetish, but it doesn't deserve hate. 

 

Personally I'm against all of the Displaced stories that are a current fad now- they're all pretty much the same thing, just that the main characters all have different superpowers.

i couldn't finish My Little Dashie, even as an audio book. (I can usually finish audio books.) So I guess that one? Though I think a fanfiction I wrote about a Rarity hater who became Rarity is the worst, but that doesn't count because I wanted it to be bad.
