Who's um . . . unsure of their sexuality?

If I were do describe it, it would be biromantic asexual. Yes, it can exist.

It doesn't help I love Gravitation, Loveless, both anime that is romances with male/male.

You don't have to be attracted to men just because you like m/m love. (: Though if you do feel an attraction to men, that's something entirely different.

I think quite a few people suffer from this confusion. Could be because of conditioning as we grow up? Ever since I was little I had a fascination with males, and as I got older it became more apparent but I never actually embraced it until a couple of years ago. Sometimes it takes someone to say that they have interest you and for you to feel something back to give you the realization. At least, that's how it happened for me. So I am bisexual with a preference to males.

Oddly enough, apparently my brother knew I was bisexual the whole time, even before I truly realized it. Others in my family also questioned if I was throughout the years.

Basically, embrace who you are, that is the best thing you could do. :)

Let me say I think I'm bisexual. But, I can't say for sure.

I've uh . . . done research and since I'm not fully sure if I'm straight or bi, I've yet to tell my parents. And it gets worse, since I'm homeschooled and haven't really spoken with many people outside of the family, and I've yet to kiss a girl, or boy. But, I've started going to a group in the Library, and I've kind of developed a crush on two members of the group, and one is a guy, the other is girl. I don't know what to do, I've had dreams with both genders. What . . . what should I do? I don't know who I am. Any suggestions?

Besides 'jump right in and have fun'? We only get to be young once lol. Do what makes you happy.

When I was younger, I suppressed any feelings I might have towards other people.  Don't know why I did that.  So I've never really given my sexuality any thought until recently.  So nowadays, I feel pretty confused for the most part.  For a while I thought I was a lesbian because of this one girl, but then I realized I was transgender so that got scratched off the table.  These days, I tend to think just because I find someone attractive means I'm (insert random sexual orientation here) which makes me even more confused.  All I can say is, don't get hung up on labels, it'll only mess you up.  Just because you like yaoi doesn't mean you're gay or bi for that matter.  A straight guy can enjoy gay porn and still be straight.  There are so many labels out there, trying to tie yourself to a few can only make things harder to figure out for you.

Thank you all for the advice, I will take the advice into consideration and attempt to date around, maybe start by dating a girl, then try dating (a man) in secret from my parents. I only say in secret because I don't know how they'd take me dating a male when they already have a son who dates men.

Either way, I'll try dating, the only advice I can't take is asking a "professional" about such a topic.

Sexuality is something fluid and sometimes it's hard to label yourself as gay or bi or whatever, especially if you're still young cause you're in that figuring-out-who-you-are phase. Just don't worry about it and do whatever makes you feel right  ;)

I'm 16 and I think i'm bi, but it's still confusing.

Sexuality is a spectrum. Labels like Gay, bi and Lesbian are just labels we use to make it easier to identify.
I identify as a lesbian, but I was unsure for a long time. I dated guys and it didn't feel right. But seeing female couples in anime and manga made me all fluttery and blushie. xo
Over time I admitted to myself I was attracted to women. And it just grew from there. I became sure I was meant to be with a woman after I my first girlfriend. It was short lived, but there was a passion and a feeling of rightness I never felt before when with a guy.

When you can admit it to yourself and family, its a great feeling of relief. Even more so when they accept you as you are.
Don't feel like you have to identify as a set label. As I said before, sexuality is a spectrum. Just explore. If something feels wrong don't do it. But if it feels right, run with it. :)

I've known for a while that I'm straight, sure I have homosexual fantasies, and sometimes watch gay porn (but with ponies), but I'm still totally straight. I can never imagine having a relationship with another man.

Just go with life right now, it'll click when you least expect it because your mind will deceive you more than often over what your heart says. You also have some years before everything starts sticking to continue your path.

For the longest time I always thought I was completely straight and I wasn't wrong for the most part, I can still admire a woman and her beauty but I for the most part might as well be bi especially since the person I am dating right now...well not too important, just that they're a man. But to say the least when he asked me I was still on the "I AM A MAYUN. SPARTA, WOMEN, SLAYING DRAGONS!" mindest so, spoiler, I initially said no though I did notice I was flattered and other things which is when it clicked for me. Now I am in probably the happiest relationship I could ask for.

But yeah, like me and others are saying, don't worry about it and just go with what your heart says, no point in letting your mind tell you because when you do figure it out it will be out of nowhere most likely.

I used to be confused about whether I was asexual or not, but today I found a comment on Youtube that enlightened me. Apparently I'm demisexual which was a term I had never heard of before, and it's defined by a lack of sexual attraction towards any person unless they become deeply emotionally or romantically connected with a specific person or persons. That's pretty much me, and I'm glad I finally found something to define my sexuality

I for sure know mine, but if you're still questioning, I'd gladly help!

I'd say I'm pretty good when it comes to this. ^~^

It's definitely miscible and can definitely change with time (in my case I'm trans and on hormones so my example might be exaggerated). All about what you're comfortable with exploring, just be sure to keep an open mind! For me I'm pretty sure, even with the influence hormones, that I still prefer women. I'm just more comfortable with some sexuality with men as well. :3

I don't know what to do, I've had dreams with both genders. What . . . what should I do? I don't know who I am. Any suggestions?

I've had a lot of struggles with my sexuality ever since I was 16, that's almost 6 years ago now. Heck, sometimes I'm still unsure what I am. I'm in a relationship with a guy and I pretty much only like guys, I'd never have a romantic relationship with a girl anymore even though in the past I was really into them. But I wouldn't mind having sex with them, even when I'm pretty much focused on just guys now. After gaining a lot of experience, talking about it with others and figuring out who I am myself. I can gladly say that I just really like guys and very rarely like girls, and even when I like girls, I don't like them in a romantic way.

What's most important is that you should know where you stand at the moment, don't think about the future just yet and try to figure out where you are in your sexuality. You're interested in a guy and a girl, what do you like about them? What makes them attract you? All that you know at the moment is that you're attracted to those two people, despite having no experience in sex. Until you do have some experience all you can really say is you're bicurious, curious and willing to be open to try it out with both genders.

Whether you're gay, straight, bisexual or something else entirely, that doesn't matter. What matters is that you're willing to try out both genders and see where it goes. If it goes not like you expect it to go, don't beat yourself up over it. We're born with different sexualities and sometimes we just like one thing about a person or one thing about a gender. You might be 80% into girls and 20% into guys, but exactly this guy has what you like or vice versa. What kind of girls and guys do you like? Is it something about their appearance or personality or both? Asking questions like these yourself might get you a little closer to who you are and when you do figure out where you are right now, you can take steps into the future.

In the end you can't really rush figuring out your sexuality, everyone has their own pace and by only taking little step by little step we can really come to a conclusion. If you'd like to talk to someone who has been through this, I'm always here so you can always PM me or add me on skype if you'd like.

Since I don't have anything to add to what everyone has said, I did want to point out something that concerned me a bit.

 What . . . what should I do? I don't know who I am. Any suggestions?

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of things in each person's life that makes them who they are.  Sexual orientation is just one of those things.  If you still haven't figured out your orientation, don't let that fact make you lose your sense of identity.  Unlike what society will have you think, you have many years to fall in love and make a final decision.  Your sense of identity, however, is something that needs daily care.

As for me, I think I am a heteroromantic asexual or a demiheterosexual, but I'm not sure.

I personally aren't sure of my sexuality, though i kind of roll with being asexual cause i never really found myself like...., that bothered with sex, maybe to one or two people it'll be the end of the world for them but i'd be happy if i lived life without being "horny" or wanting/needing sex, i kinda found stuff like porno mags or that kind of ethier i have no reaction to them or i kinda get repulsed.

on the other hand i

I tend to get really touchy feely with my GF....and i guess we like our smoops and that but of course we would :3

.

so maybe i just feel....I say im asexual but im not 100% sure?. i know i could be described then as pansexual but again....im just not 100% sure of that ethier.

Sexuality is mostly two things. Biological and a lifestyle. Just jump on the merry-go-round and see what goes. Its nothing to think about too much to be honest. Just mount on the consent one you like and that should solve the problem ;)

Are you sexually attracted to boys? How about girls? If you said yes to both questions, then you're bisexual, simple as that.

I know for a fact that I like girls, but there's some chance I'm bisexual. I don't think I am, but my thing is that even if I am, I'd probably have to repress it, because my family would not be too accepting of that. So... yeah.

1- Completely Heterosexual   2- More Heterosexual Than Homosexual   3- Bisexual   4- More Homosexual Than Heterosexual   5- Completely Homosexual.

Bisexual is a term generally referring to one who can and does tend to have sexual and romantic desires with both males and females. There is no specific requirement to how often you get these feelings with particular genders. In other words, It's alright that you tend to hook to guys or girls as opposed to another gender, but the fact that you still get these desires with both said genders is completely bisexual.

I dont know myself, excpet is asexual or heterosexual.  Leaning more torwards asexual because I dont feel sexually attracted to anyone.  Like I like girls but in a platonic way.  I seek minds and emotions more than i do body parts.

I'm very sure I'm heterosexual, though I'm a lonely guy at the moment so I've seen some weird stuff and, like, not minded it... but I'm absolutely sure I want to be in a relationship with a woman. :squee:

I thought about my sexuality in 8th grade. I'm 20 now, and I can finally say without a doubt that love for me can develop with anyone that comes into my life. I want to experience it for real, with somepony that knows how to keep a fire going between two people.

I really don't see an issue with loving a girl, guy, or something in between. What matters to me is what's inside. Feelings, emotions, reliability in life, and commitment. That's what I'd offer in a relationship, but that's another story. Being single can be so crummy.
