After a good five minutes of walking, the duo arrive at Derpy's house. "Well Strong, here we are. Derpy's out at Canterlot for the week attending some business for Princess Celestia, so she shouldn't mind about an extra house guest. The guest room is upstairs and to the left, it's the second door. If you need anything, feel free to ask, I'll be right down the hall." As Ali climbs the stairs, she looks back at Strong. "Thanks again, and all. G'night."

Strong smiled and nodded, then walked to the room that he would be sleeping in. The bed was slightly small for him, and the ends of his legs hung over the edge. He didnt complain however, and simply lay there. He thought about the events of that day, a smile on his face, thankful to finally find a pony who actually had the decency to speak to him. He eventually fell into a deep sleep

The next morning, Ali got up to find that Strong had disappeared! Quickly leaving a note for Derpy, telling her that this might be the last day she spent in Ponyville, and said her goodbyes to the townsponies. She then headed for the edge of town, finding Strong waiting for her at the bridge. "Hey Strong!, you ready to head out?"

Strong chuckled and said teasingly, "I wouldn't be waiting on you if I wasn't". He had on a saddlebag with food and various other supplies, "So where do you want to head out to first?"

((Btw, just a heads up, making posts that control others peoples characters is a no no. Just letting you know))

"I just usually wing it." Ali replied. "No pun intended." She turned to stare out at the road. "I think we should start heading south, though. It might be an easier road." Ali nervously glanced at the forest which they would be heading away from. She couldn't stand the place, and the farther she was from it, the better. "Let's go. The sooner we're on the road, the sooner our journey begins."

If looks could kill, Strong would have lain dead. Ali glared at him like he had just called her something unrepeatable.

She turned back to the road, and in silence continued walking. This always happened when someone tried to talk to Ali about the forest, always. She doesn't know why it happens, neither does she know why the forest makes her nervous, it just does.

Strongs grin instantly faded, realizing he must've offended her. He stopped a moment as she walked past, but soon picked up the pace so he was at her side, "Wait, I didn't mean to offend you Ali, I'm sorry" he looked at her, worried she might push him away now for what he said.

"It's not your fault, Strong, it just happens every time someone mentions that forest." Ali Hoped they'd never have to come back to that forest. She'd spent 4 years worrying about it, and didn't want to spend any more time near it, so she quickened her pace. "Keep up if you can!" She playfully called back.

Strong thought a moment before replying, "I've been to Phillydelphia, Manehattan, a bunch of smaller towns I don't remember the names to." he chuckled, "even stayed in Las Pegasus for a couple years. I never stayed in one place for too long. A lot of times I would end up just camping in the wilderness during my travels. What about you?"

"Just Canterlot, Manehattan, a bunch of smaller towns, and Ponyville." Thinking about if for a bit, Ali realized something. "It's weird that I've never left the area for too far. It's like I'm connected to this place." Looking back, Ali realized how far away Ponyville really was. "Have we really been walking that long? I can't even see Ponyville anymore!"

Strong looked back "you'd be surprised how fast you can travel when you have somepony to talk to." he said. Then with a smile he said "And I'm glad to not be traveling alone this time"

(time skip)

The pair walked along the road, talking whenever they found something to talk about. Eventually they reached a small town named Witherton. It was a small town with many ponies walking about. Strong looked and saw a small cafe, his stomach growled for it was around lunch time. "How's about we grab a bite to eat and discuss how were going to start searching around?"

Ali felt her own stomach rumbling, and she quickly agreed, heading for the cafè, looking around the town as she went. As she got close she noticed that there weren't many ponies inside. "Seems strange," she said to Strong, "there's so many ponies walking around, but hardly any inside of the cafè. It is about lunchtime, isn't it?"

As they entered the cafè, the pony behind the counter nervously glanced at the clock, then back at them.

"Look now, you two are pushing it, there's only 5 minutes before he comes!"

At the mention of those words, every other pony in the room quickly paid and left, leaving Strong and Ali to be the only ones left.

"Strange." Ali commented to nopony in particular.

"We'd just like to get some lunch, please!" She said to the host-pony.
