The good that comes from Taco Bell

Putting aside my recent adoration for their "spicy" ptato soft tacos, which is just about the ony good thing on their menu...let me talk about one of the best things ever they've introduce. This little number isn't n their menu at all, in fact, rather....it's a condiment. I'm talking abot their new (to me) Diablo hot sauce. As someone wh was chowing down on jalepino peppes out the jar as an infant, and dousing everything in hot sauce for decades, its no easy feat to find a hot sauce that offers enough heat to thrill your mouth, make your sinuses run, lips tingle, and still taste good amidst the degree of heat it offers. Taco bell got it right, with that sweet Diablo sauce. Yeah, man!

Granted, I think sriracha is king of hot sauces, but it doesn't have the spicy factor- it's more of a spicy sweet sauce, in my opinion.

Being someone that has no tried many hot sauces at all, Diablo hot sauce sound terrifying. XD It would be interesting to have it with one one their new Nacho thingies, those look sooo good and hot sauce would probably kick it up a notch.

it's fantastic! Put those fears aside and try it! It delivers a very satisfying amount of heat without being overpwering, but it's still flavorful. Does wonders to the normally bland food. Absolute wonders!

I love the Bell.  I mean, it's all crap, like any fast food, but I love it.

You know, my best friends and I once spent an entire day at the Bell.  Well, almost.  We got there around lunchtime and ate, then we sat and talked until dinner time and ordered again and ate that.  We called it our Day at Taco Bell Day.

I don't even use hot sauce. I really dislike spicy food.

Beef Quesarrito is usually what I get, culinary abomination that it is.

I love spicy food but I would never eat at taco bell. I prefer to cook or order domino's. Their mango habanero chicken wings are to die for, but are quite expensive after dessert, deliver fees, tips, and taxes.

My favorite thing out of Taco Bell is the grillers. They're delicious. The Queserito ain't bad either, though.

I say this as a long time McDonalds and Jack in the Box fanboy who doesn't generally care for Taco Bell's food.

You're talking my language.

I love Taco Bell. And if they tried to make it into some fancy dancy gourmet crap I wouldn't eat it because that is not Taco Bell to me. I like almost everything in their menu. And you got to get the hottest sauces with you.

Chipotle is good too but I go there for different reasons. And that's those filled burritos.

I've had a lot of bad experiences going to Taco Bell. My step father had food poisoning the last 3 times he went. One time I went with some friends od mine one of my friends had a dead fly in their taco meat...

Plus their food always have given me stomach problems afterwards.

I like Taco bell, but sometimes, just rarely for me the food would give me food poisoning. Doesn't happen a lot though, but those new grilled stuffed nachos are delicious!  :D

  • 5 years later...

It makes the line for other restaurants where I do visit shorter :nom: .

I guess their chalupas, but Taco Bell is the last thing I ever want to eat normally, so I never really go.
