Ill be honest with you, I just want more qoutes to throw around so i look smart (-er than i already am, haha). So heres how we will do it: each new post needs 1-3 quotes that either the quote itself is famous, the person who said it is famous, or both. No quotes from your 6th grade English teacher.

Ill start:

"If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse" - Henry Ford

"When ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise" - Thomas Gray

"If you know your enemy, and you know yourself, you need not fear the result of one hundred battles" - Sun Tzu

"... you know, I think it's important to keep a balance in things. Yeah, balance, that's the right word. Because the guy who wants too much risks losing absolutely everything. Of course, the guy who wants too little from life, might not get anything at all." - Thomas Angelo

Glad I did a search for this.  I was hoping someone would have started this already.  So here are my first 3, from George Carlin *language alert!*

On Mickey Mouse

"I hope Mickey dies, lonely and forgotten behind the baseboard of soiled bathroom in a poor neighborhood.  With his hand in Goofy's pants.

On Flamethrowers

"The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done."

Waffles Vs Pancakes

"And now, in the interest of equal time, here is a message from the National Institute of Pancakes: It reads, and I quote, “Fuck waffles."

"Be it so. This burning of widows is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. Let us all act according to national customs."
