Thanks, trees are a bit of a nemesis of mine.

Ether you make them really really plain, or they require a tone of detail. There doesn't seem to be a good middle ground that looks good with them.

This looks amazing. The colors, the setting and the shadowy detail looks really beautiful. I also like how the picture is angled and Twilight using her horn as a light to read her book. Awesome job and great work  .

oh wow!  I really like this one.  The colors really compliment each other and the whole thing has just the right amount of simplicity.   So... are those birds or bats?

I love the purple glow emanating from Twilight's horn that subtly draws attention its way.

Thanks. There birds. I considered making the bats originally but decided against it because it would have taken a bit more work to make sure there was the distinction from birds. I considered also taking them out of the image altogether. I'm still torn on whether they add or take away from the image as a whole. It feels more like a distraction rather then an additional feature.

That is really good! I love how Twilight is in shadow, but her light spell is just enough to illuminate her book. Very nicely done!
