For all you gamers out there: What is your drive to game? What makes you want to spend 1000's of hours on a game? Is it the community? Graphics? Getting to do things you can't do in real life? Escapism? What pushes you towards the computer screen and holds you there for hours?

I am only limited to 2 hours of gaming a day. And I mostly seek escapism from it. Nowadays, I use gaming to just unwind after getting home from work.

For me I would say the community. I mostly play online games and meeting new people to chat with, play against, or to team up with gives me that drive for gaming.

Well I've been gaming since I was really little! I'm not sure what drives me, I just like playing a game that's fun and having fun!

escapism

more than 500+ hours on skyrim

sometimes i have camping and survival mods for total immersion and try to get to point a to point b without fast traveling even if it takes me a few hours to do it

 

but if i just want to unwind and have a quick game i play 1-3 games of League
