In the U.S., I wear an 8.5 men's. I have pretty small feet, but then again, Stalin was only 5 ft 4 in (168 cm).

I wear a US size 8 in women's. That's actually a little on the small side for women of today.

 

Every now and then I can slip into an 8.5 just fine, but more often than not size 8 does all the justice I need.
