Rave shook his head smiling. He did not need help with this, not with descending. He used the same trick as he had down at the docks when Caramel met Wade. He shadowmorphed and glided down until he reached the bottom and then morphed back to normal. "Not trying to be showoff" he quickly proclaimed, sweating a bit.

Scarlett felt a small boost in her power and her eyes widened. She shouted down to Rave "Did you use dark magic again?" before feeling interference "Hey Aqua, you're using a gravity spell on a gravity spell. I'm surprised it didn't just cancel out."

 

"You know what guys" She jumped out into the middle of the shaft and teleported to the bottom of the shaft. "Why do I even bother with gravity spells" before sitting down and eating a cookie from her saddlebag.

Aqua tried not to laugh so hard. She stifled most of her giggles but Aqua's face was getting red and warm from holding in her laughter. She took a few long breaths through her nose and calmed herself down. Aqua shortly reached the bottom where the snow was.

"I'll make my way down myself. It's not as deep as you're making it out to be. Be careful though, a straight drop will still kill you." He laughed as he nonchalantly walked over the edge and went into free fall. When approaching the bottom, he uses his Gauntletts to dig into the wall which reduced his speed and brought him to a stop before he reached the bottom. "Easy decent."

Caramel walked down causally with a small smirk on her face. She eventually made it down, feelin a weird magic vibe around. Not to mention the heat around, as if they were near a volcano. "Almost there, now I'm really sure of it." Caramel said as she looked at the others. Somehow this part of the cave seemed to be less dark.

Lordy was half bueried in snow... not able to move and scratching his head. Then heheard a sound. The sound of metal scratching rock. It was fast... and it was coming slow...

"Oh goodness... NONONONONONO!" he yelled as he was trying to get out of the snow. He wasx right in tyras trajectory at the bottom of the cliff.

Tyra's axe scraped loudly against the rock, sending sparks flying, as she whooped and yelled with excitement at the speed she was going.

Upon nearing the bottom, her axe smacked against a protruding rock, sending her flying off the blade and hurdling right into Lordy.

 

"Oof!" She grunted, landing on the stallion's back, "That...was...what do they say in Equestria...AWESOME!!"

Tyra's axe scraped loudly against the rock, sending sparks flying, as she whooped and yelled with excitement at the speed she was going.

Upon nearing the bottom, her axe smacked against a protruding rock, sending her flying off the blade and hurdling right into Lordy.

 

"Oof!" She grunted, landing on the stallion's back, "That...was...what do they say in Equestria...AWESOME!!"

Lordy was flattened on the gound, then he saw it.

"Look out!" he yelled.

The axe Tyra just left flying was falling for him. He closed his yes. THUD! It fell and got stuck to the riock a couple of centimeters in front of him." he sighed in relief.

 

"Ouch.... Glad... you...enjoyed...it.... Now, if you dont mind...." he said nicely, "Could you get off me!" the second part was a bit louder and severe, yet not rude.

Aqua winced at the pain Lordy must have felt at the moment from that extreme landing Tyra made on him. Although, she couldn't stop the giggles that emerged from her mouth. She quickly put a hoof to her giggling mouth so that her giggling was stifled.

She trotted over to the rock holding her axe and swiftly pried it off. "We must do that again sometime!"

Lordy was almost totally buried in the snow now, and he could barely move. The shock of having a giant pony fall on him probably played a factor. He tried to push himself up put he was stuck for good.

She stops and waits for everyone else, she says to Caramel who she thought was a bit behind her "So, now what. We keep going?"

A giant loud crack could be heard as he straightened his back,

"ohhh.... that was most delightful."

He cleans off his coat and hat, befor eputing it back on his head. Puts his pan bag in his bag, which he had luckily taken off, saving it from Tyras 'fury from above'. He puts on his bag, grabs his musket.

 

"Ready to go as always."

Aqua frowned a bit with worry. She walked over to Lordy with a look of concern worn on her face. "Hey." Aqua greeted him with a shy smile. "Do you need any help?" She offered with a friendly smile. She still had a series a giggles stifled but she kept them under control.

"Oh, no, thank you very much. I got everything under control....mostly. Also, i dont believe we've been properly introduced. My name is Lordy Snow.... I'm not from this parts. He makes the slight bow with a hat tip he usually makes during introductions. "What might your name be?"

Aqua still left out the rest of her name, like she does with just about everypony. She gave Lordy a friendly smile.

Tyra was suddenly overwhelmed by the heat of the cave. Being from the Frozen North, her thick coat was more suited for cold climates like outside the cave, but in here it was becoming her worst enemy.

 

"Sleipnir's mane, why is it so hot?!" She complained, panting and huffing to cry and cool herself.

Aqua was used to steaming waters. It was not the best condition to be in. However, on land, heat seemed to have a different definition. This was hot air she was in, not hot water. Aqua found beads of sweat on her forehead. She wiped it away with her right hoof.

Feeling a bit hot. Lordy took off his greycoat and his gloves. He also took off his red jacket. Now he was wearing a white, clean millitary shirt. (so he usually wears 2 layers) He changed his shako for his usual, non-fluffy one and was ready to march. 

 

"I got cool water if anybodty wants." He took out a thermo-insulated canister.

"This place... has a slightly unnatural feel to it. I think you're right Caramel. We're definitely in the correct place." Wade was also being affected by the sudden burst of heat the was in the air around them. And from the conversations around him, it seems like their is some light from another source. Putting two and two together, he presumed that lava might be nearby. The smell of brimstone and other heated rocks confirmed it. They are passing through a Volcano. And what would be the perfect place to hide something in here? Under the lava. 'Their has to be a secret passage around here somewhere. If my theory is right, we can be out in no time. I need to take notes about this place.' Wade started to push on ahead of the group, searching around the area with heavy curiosity. Looking for anything unnatural and artificial.

Scarlett just stood there "Is this hot for you guys? Damn, I guess my nerve endings really are fried"

 

While she stood there, and noticed a familiar light. This was the light left behind when a magical explosive device exploded, or more the light of what was left behind. Molten rock, otheriwse known as magma. "Hey guys, be careful. I'm fairly certain there's magma nearby."

Caramel looked around, the place was huge, there were multiple direction she could take but her gut told her to go straight forward so she did. Caramel walked further, after a while she noticed the sound of her hoofsteps changing. The rock underneath that was under her hoofs before had turned into beautiful white marble that led to a stair case out of the same material. "Guys! Come see this!" Caramel yelled from where she was standing. "I think I found what we're looking for."

Rave rushed to her Caramel's side. He saw what looked like beautiful marble laid floor. He started looking around. He levitated his mapping orb out of his saddle bag. "I am surely going to map down this place, if you don't mind?" he asked his captain, looking to her, waiting for her permission.

Tyra, still huffing and sweating, trudged over to stand next to Caramel and looked up at the marble staircase.

"Sleipnir's mane," she muttered, looking up at the stone structure, "How does marble appear inside a cave in an Equestrian mountain?!"

 

She blinked. "Then again, I have seen stranger things in caves, but still!"
